Hastings appears seemly a formality, discussions for 2022 have been on going but as it’s been broken all around it’s now clear 2021 is the aim.
This will move very fast, they want him here ASAP so he can do his 2 week quarantine & get straight into the system.

What's the go with Brooks? not necessarily contractually but his form and the concerns around that.

Million Dollar question, he showed some great leadership in the pre-season & actually had some great input in attack/plays to execute in game plans but last 2 games he seemed lost/ no confidence.

So basically he's the world's best trainer but can't find a man's voice on gameday...

For some reason we are playing very flat which doesn't suit our centres who like early ball, especially Roberts. Brooks being a run 1st halfback is also an issue for our outside backs.

I know there is still work to do with finalising this years roster but how are the plans for 2022 progressing?
Are we targeting any outside backs in 2022? Are we any real chance of landing a Angus Crichton (edit: or someone of that ilk in the backrow)?
Our start to this season couldn’t be helping recruitment.

Scott sAttler reporting that b.smith has signed with the bulldogs for next year.

If true, I honestly can’t fathom how a bottom 4 team like the Dogs can just attract these sort of players, while we still scratch around in the dirt looking for someone half decent - it beggars belief really.

Facilities - i know it's not the entire reason, but it sure does help when you have state of the art facilities at your disposal.

That's why i can't wait for the COE to finish and open up. If you want to play like a professional team you gotta train like one

Yes Brooks has zero confidence. And the players have no confidence in him. For the life of me I don’t know why we got rid of Blake Austin. That guy was a hog but gee he didn’t hold back.

I’d stay clear of players in broncos team last year we already have one.
