The idea of recruitment is to try and leap frog other teams when you are rebuilding.

So far I think the Dogs (if they land B Smith) and the Broncos would be leap frogging us.

I am concerned that we are recruiting the wrong players.

Until we get to the point where we can identify a difference maker and then make it happen we’re not even playing in the same ballpark. If we just accept we get the scraps then that’s what we get, and nothing changes.

Madden slowley brought along,. 5 powerfull forwards in NSW CUP fightiing for a first gde dig. Talented young backs in Flegg and Cup. It looks good, and most are young, with the chance to build.

Reading from the bottom (2021) upwards (2020 ect) , shows that he runs more meters than any of our forwards.

Excellent recruitment from us, finally being aggressive I’d be stoked if we got both!

TPJ is a destructive forward who is ONLY 25 btw, who can offload like crazy giving us some 2nd phase plays which we’ve been extremely poor at this year.... while also giving us a bit of a fear factor as he can put a hit on and shut down forwards which I’ve seen him do with both Tamoulolo and Fifita, not to mention he runs hard and tackles harder! Could be anything this kid if mentored correctly ofc!

Issako coming as a winger, would be amazing as he reminds me like Val Holmes much better winger than fullback... while also giving us a great goal kicker, him and Nofa would be a great winger combo!

Can’t see how anyone is against these signings.
This whole team will come up and hit there primes together and we’ll be a special team for years to come, fingers crossed we get it done!

Would take both Isaako and TPJ in a heartbeat.
Isaako at fullback would allow Laurie to move to 5/8 (which looks to be his best position - he plays his best footy up in the line). And TPJ would easily be our best forward.

Our problem is very simple, defense. Don’t see TPJ fixing that.

Our defence is improving.

Brooks, Garner... everyone is getting better.

Luciano could be better but TPj is a hitter and a rep player.

IMO he replaces Garner in our line up and we become more threatening.
