Hard to see it happening with Laurie injured unless there was a very attractive swap (Lomax). I highly doubt there's even a remote chance of this happening.

There's no one in NSW cup that deserves a contract upgrade. Even throwing all our money on Front loading a jersey Flegg player would be a waste as none are ready so we're just wasting cap space.

If the simply promote Tuilagi or even worse, Cooper, it would be an extreme insult to every member and show in full transparent how pathetic our management is. They won't, and can't survive that.

If we are going for developing players, we are still throwing them to the wolves too early. Will not further them mentally.
If we can't sign anyone, how can we gradually move these players into the squads? We surround them with journeyman (all we can sign) and it is a very long process. We need strong leadership.

He is not a centre, interesting is last night one of the things that was mentioned,was he has told the Broncos that he has already received 3 offers from clubs , 1 of them the Tigers & is waiting for an offer from Warriors ( not that you would believe it coming from him). The other thing was that the Dragons have requested permission to negotiate with Farnworth but have not been given a response yet which is very surprising.

If we dont sign anyone of note we are best to front load Mbye. If we pay him 500k this yr when it doesent matter then we only have him for 300k on next yrs cap and should be able to find a buyer meaning we pay nothing for him next year. In saying that at 300k he is value for money for us too as his utility value is good and he played well last night sadly the rest of the spine was woeful

I don't think we require a lot of top talent players, a couple of backs and a forward would be a good start.

Bigger picture if we can get someone more for next year over Mbye for this year in which the season is over then do it.

Play Cini or AD at the back, play Madded or AD in the halves. Give the kids some game time they have zero chance to develop whilst reggies is cancelled for a 2nd year in a row. They need games on the body.
