I actually think Madge and co are playing the waiting game for recruitment but are concentrating on extending and dealing with our great young talent....remember Madge wants to build from within so we have a long and prosperous future...I can see his methodology and it CAN succeed given time...

Waiting for what? We have a lot of spots to fill and the sooner we start filling spots the better. They should already have an idea of who they want to sign and be targeting them. We have a bad habit of leaving it too long and having no choice but to fill our final roster spots with nobodies

No wonder the other clubs are beating us at signings. Wake up Tigers and sign the players you need now. You have more than enough in the remaining salary Cap to sign these players. But remember that these players don''t wait for slow administrators to take action.

I don’t really know much about him. He played for Country U/18 when they toured GB which is on YouTube. In the 20 minutes I watched he didn’t do much but that was a few years back. I believe he will be in our system next year. I wouldn’t expect too much though although our recruiting seems more on point than in the past.

He's got 2 years left on his current contract at the dogs at $850 (as quoted on the article). If the dags (as per article) are willing to pay $350k , im thinking he wouldnt be too bad a signing at $500k for 2 seasons.
Thats if we are looking to sign him.

Looks like the overspending on players at the dogs is already biting hard.They have already let players on large contracts be subsidised and moved on Thompson will be another.

The Steelers have a lot of talent in the halves with Sullivan, Amone and Roberts plus Mbye.
