How is this being upvoted. I know everyone is in the 'we all hate Nofa' phase and admittedly he has been well below his best. But to say an untested rookie who has literally never played a game is better than last years Dally M Winger of the Year is just ridiculous. Even at his worst I really felt (unlike most here) that Nofa actually was trying really hard at the backend of the year. And also all of you guys constantly bemoan the lack of passion that anyone has for the Tigers jersey but he's one of the few that has actually been loyal to the club from the beginning. Yes he had a bad year and yes its frustrating for all of us but how about we try and back him and hope he gets back to form next season. If he doesn't then this conversation can hold a lot more weight.

If he decides to run stright, he is one of our best, the attack was always his only strength!
However, he is our chronic defensive weakness, is it his inability or discipline, but he did not show any sign of improvement in his 6-7 years. He is the NRL's undisputed champion in how not to position or read the game.
My verdict is: sell him at any cost!

Looks like theres a strong chance of Madge staying,mostly because nobody wants to cough up $800k to punt him.
If so,It will only be for one year with the performance clauses in next years new contract pushing him out end 2022 without financial pain surely
If true,our recruitment is now consigned to the desperate and dateless player bargain bin,with minimal interest from quality NRL players to link up with this culture.So we need to reconsiderour recruitment targets and be less fussy for2022 as follows
Curtis Scott-we are indeed "desperate" for a quality centre next year.and he has been that in the past ,but not for some 2 yrs.Because we have very few options for the 3 or 4 jersey,Id take him on a strict 1yr plus club option 1 yr deal.Dont like myself for being expedient,but sometimes you just have to deal with the cards yr dealt.
Elliot-proven NRL quality player in a position we have plenty of ,but mostly mostly unproven candidates ..we'd prefer an impact forward(which he aint)but he cld bring desperately needed experience and leadership and allow Luciano a rest during games.Same deal as above for Scott,but without the risk as Elliots misdeameanours were just the misadventures of youth (but lock up yr wives and daughters)!
Woods-no go under any circumstances..not the impact prop we need,and untrustworthy leadership .He can mow lawns
And regardless of whether Madge stays or goes,new assistant coaches for attack and defence that actually SPEAK and emulate the "Finuccane"pre-game preperation that so impressed Stefano(and others)
..oh,and a smarter Board with more footy knowledge and an ability to oppose the Chairmans whims wld be very useful
ZMadge for another year...is what it is,but almost worth a go fund me!

Or identify the reason for the lack of appeal and fix it. But that seems too hard, it’s the mediocrity that is that embedded we accept it.

Which is what happens and it usually works for them.
Some say he’s loyal ..... maybe, but I reckon he’s the guy leaking all the locker room talk to the media.
It’s been happening for 5 or 6 years now, I use to think it was Farah but it was still happening after he left.
He’s not worth the trouble on field or off.

The problem is the club....
We've taken an average footballer and turned him into some sort of god - There's fans with tattoos of him on them for gods sake.
At any other Club, He's an Ikavalu or Jennings - Only gets run out when there's injuries in front of him.

In a very short time Maumalo has shown us what a proper winger looks like. Ken needs to work on his camera game though.

Don't mind this post & I get it but it shows little regard for our younger players coming through who just happened to be undefeated this year albeit in a shortened season.

Blake Feguson is literally playing on one leg - scored a couple of tries last weekend but got caught out badly and struggles to catch the ball these days - unfortunately it's called age and wear and tear.

Sick of giving players "one more chance" and I put Scott and Elliott in that category.

We need to stop going for the "quick fix". Believe it or not we have some juniors who can make it, cost a lot less and are hungrier than those that have had their time in the sun.

What makes you think Elliott would show leadership? He's never shown any in his career. The Dogs best performances this year was after he was stood down. He's really poor
