With Hartigan and assistance from Sheens, our club is well placed to recruit new talent. IMO acquiring good young players on the cusp of the NRL is an excellent outcome. You only have to revisit the Laurie and Utoikamanu signings to realise the value they bring to our team. My fingers are crossed a new coach will bring an incremental improvement to our play generally but specifically our defence.

Yeah, I don't know how people don't see this.

Not really IMO. Most players are early twenties with almost zero life experience with at least 5-10 years of everyone pumping their tyres up. Agents care about their business (as we have seen at the Tigers) and will gladly sign a player to a club if it means that they get a favourable result for another higher paid player. All that matters to agents is business.

So its reasonable to think either the board are currently split and haven't made a formal decision yet or they are seeking alternative to madge before making up their mind.

Brent Read saying that Peachey has been offered to WT and raiders. Wants a 3 year deal @ $400k a season. Both clubs don't want to pay that price.

Fair price.
Hopefully something can be worked out.
We need him more than the raiders.

Raiders however need a 7...
Can think of a guy.

Transfer the guy you speak of to the Raiders and use some of that cap to pay Peachy $400k?

We don't need to free up $ to get Peachy.

But we do need to offload Brooks

Agree madge did pretty good with what he had at his disposal. The great negotiators Lee, hardigan pascoe really rallied a great side.

I like hartigan and I like madge (don't know them but going from what you see in media, forum etc)

But I don't get how hartigan gets credit for good young signings and made gets the blame for not landing a big name signing.

If its hartigans role to manage signings, surely he gets blame for bungled TPJ, finucane, etc

We get the westa Tigers fan commitee love hartigan for some reason. Hartigan must be a committee member.

Sheens has been out of the loop for years and Hartigan has not set the world alight.

Both are intelligent men and assets to WTs. I have confidence in both men.

Confidence can be misplaced and when it is it becomes dangerous.
Maybe I’ll be corrected next year. Wait and see.

Koroisau would be a great pick up. His cousin may come with him which would be very exciting for WTs.
