Are the super league coaches being considered any good?

All downgrades

The way Madge had us playing a downgrade would be pretty hard to achieve. We would need to concede 60 every week for it to be a downgrade

Madge has presided over some horrific results this year, the players have stopped listening new coach fresh ideas.
Look how well Brooks played under Cleary in 2018

Agree re: new coach fresh ideas, but truth be told Brooks also sucked under Cleary. He was just inexplicably given 3 points in games we won like 12-8 or 14-10 all the time. He was still one of the worst halfbacks in the league then.

Shaun Wane is madge mk2. Was madges assistant at Wigan, then became the head coach when madge went to souths. Issuing the structure and team madge established, he won 3 comps in 7 years. Now the English coach. I like him but it would be strange to sack madge to replace with wane.

Steve mcnamara was assistant at roosters for a bit under Robinson. Has taken Catalan from a pretty bad positron in 2017 to now to of the table with a 54% winning rate over the 4 years. Was previously the England coach.

Kristian wolfe is best known for coaching Tonga and loved by his team, really has embraced the culture and country. Now coaches st helens after Holbrook was appointed Gold Coast coach. Win the premiership in his first year (2020) and the challenge cup this year and will most likely play in gf against Catalan this year. Has also done a fair bit if nrk assistant coaching, under 20s and qld cup coaching. A little similar to madge in personality, quoted saying 'I swear too much' and is apparently scary in wrestling sessions. But could attract some great tonga talent.

I think they all have more runs on the board than cilraldo. But think woolf would be the strongest candidate

Surely if Madge goes the unconfirmed rumours about Lomax wanting to come here are put to bed. Wasn't it said that he and Madge have a connection and that's why he was interested in joining?

It was put to bed when he added another year on his Dragons deal that will keep him there for 5yrs.
He was never coming.

Not saying he was or was not coming or going, but very strange move to take up the option in your favour 5 years ahead of time....... unless you had something else in mind....

Matterson is actually a famous name in the history of the Magpies.
Frank Matterson and Jack Matterson both were stars for the Mapies in the 1920's.

Yeah before my time but I watched Ryan on bloke in a bar and he said he came through lower grades at the Bulldogs before moving to Parrs Roosters Tigers Parra.

I don't mind him but understand the hate.

If the coach leaves I can't see why he wouldn't want to return.
He looked happy until things fell apart and he played his best footy for us.

Yeah very true this was the case when I was still at school. Was always tough for me being on the fence with close mates at both. My yr 10 formal after party was a banger, Les Mason (Willie's brother) taking on 4 big footy type lads from Morisset and dusting them all up. Cop cars and ambos galore in the end.

The Sharks' second rower. The Sharkies play a tough brand of football in the forwards. Many believe he is too small for their pack. I like him as a player. Trindall is a very good prospect and Souths have a huge problem in the halves for next season.

Can’t say Graham is much bigger than Nikora.

You don’t rate young Balmain boy Illias or the Reynolds prodigy in Hawkins?

Plus we as a club are on the nose.

We should have identified him as a good players and worked something out.

I hold out hope with Hartigan and a new coach in the joint. Plus, Twal and Doueihi may be enough to bring him back into the fold.

Could be a reunion at Manly.
