Dragons are looking at Scott. Potentially why they haven’t announced Suli yet.

They can have Scott and suli and we will have Lomax

Has anyone a Bryce Gibbs as forward leader, a Simon Dwyer as a wide running second row forward, a Gareth Ellis as a hard man, Tapau offering creativity in the forwards, a Mitch Moses at half, a JAC, a Simona and Lawrence (all with pace), a Tuiaki (earthmoving specialist)? Please express courier them to WTs Concord.

Brooks was always in. Mitch and Brooks can handle halves. Hastings ISP.

Bullemor confirmed for Manly. got a cracking nucleus of young front rowers in Keppie, Paseka, Sipley and now Bullemor. wish we had something similar. Leniu would help but the events of last Sunday surely wouldn't have helped any club that is not called Penrith trying to lure him away.

Getting hot now so rather than making a thread for every random signing rumour let’s talk here about rumoured signings.

So far we have rumoured to have actually been signed.

Chris McQueen
Kurt Capewell
Ben Matulino
Taane Milne

Rumoured approaches but no claims of being signed.

Shaun Johnson
Bodene Thompson
Albert Vete
Gareth Widdop
Russell Packer

Any I am missing?

Dragons get Suli after Manly release
Scott Bailey 1 hour ago

Moses Suli is bound for St George Illawarra with the Dragons signing him on a three-year deal just hours after being released by Manly.

Suli was among five players farewelled by the Sea Eagles on Tuesday, despite still being contracted to the club until the end of 2022.

A promising teenage talent, Suli was handed a lifeline by Manly in 2018 after being sacked by both Wests Tigers and Canterbury.

He starred in the Sea Eagles' run to the 2019 finals but fell out of favour under Des Hasler, who this year opted for more defensively sound centres.

That left the 23-year-old pushing for a release from his $550,000 contract, allowing for a move to the Dragons who had offered him more money last year.

Suli will likely fit straight into the centres for the Red V, who have let a number of members of their backline go including Gerard Beale.

"To secure Moses for the next three years after trying to sign him a couple of seasons back is certainly pleasing," Dragons GM of football Ben Haran said.

"Our young outside back talent pool will only benefit from the arrival of Moses."Moses is a strong, powerful and skilful centre. Equally important, he is keen to make an immediate mark at the Dragons."

It comes as the Dragons close in on the signature of Aaron Woods, with the former NSW State of Origin prop all but signed at the club from Cronulla.

Meanwhile, Manly confirmed Jack Gosiewski and Zac Saddler will not be re-signed, with Curtis Sironen (UK-bound) and Tevita Funa (NSW Waratahs) also missing at Brookvale Oval next season.

Veteran winger Jorge Taufua and Morgan Boyle have been retained by the Sea Eagles on one-year deals while utility Dylan Walker is expected to finalise a new contract.

@GNR4LIFE I think if injuries happen i see peach at center but I think we might end up signing Curtis Scott for that spot and gildart will start in reserves then come in round 4 for the other center spot depending on pre season

If Walker and Burns are off the market then I’d sign Scott. Not a lot of other options in the centres.

I would give Scott a crack on a one year deal.

If Lomax is definitely no go,a one year deal for Scott with a further one year club option plus an 8 month no alcohol condition each year!!
Booze is ruining him(like Elliot, who gets it)
In fact, thing "we'll all be rooned" if we dont do a bit better next

Thing to think about with Scott is he's probably going to look at compensation for the way he was sacked by Raiders.

He has form following up his rights which he should.

He was on a good wage at Canberra not sure how that impacts his next place of employment.

Scott has form on everything...unfortunately
allegedly on $500k at Raiders...market value diminished because being found guilty of bringing club into disrepute regardless of court findings/compensation.Weve all seen the footage which doesnt pass pub test(even tho he was there at the time!!)
Plus hes now a repeat "offender"=trouble
Needs to stay off the turps like Elliot/Munster etc,and recover form of 2 years ago
Its all up to him,but hes a risk

Sironen will go well in Super League.
