He's a great prospect for FG as a winger.

Elliot linked with a move to Canberra whilst we're still in the mix for his services for 2022 Canberra have entered the fray to sign the former bulldog

Peachey or Elliot really. Although both different players their use could be similar at both clubs.
Despite the issues he is a starting player. But I would prefer to start our current backrowers over him. Glad we chose Peachey first.

Elliott is from the far south coast so a move to the ACT makes sense.

I saw him going there if he didn’t resign with the Bulldogs last year.

I am not saying to get rid of them. I agree totally with you with regards to depth and development. The point I am making is the length of contracts given to both Maumolo and Nofo were excessive and to long. Correct me if i am wrong but they are with us for the next 3 to 4 years. Surely Scolari will be playing grade by then. If so we will have excess dollars sitting on the wings in reserve grade.

Who said he is paid $600k? Man some people just inflate values just to justify their agenda.
Be surprised being that it is a long term deal most people would negotiate a longer contract term if the target salary isn’t possible. I doubt he is owed a backend inflated deal either.

I am not saying to get rid of them. I agree totally with you with regards to depth and development. The point I am making is the length of contracts given to both Maumolo and Nofo were excessive and to long. Correct me if i am wrong but they are with us for the next 3 to 4 years. Theg we’re arguing over 50k and an extra year. The offer was 400k so assuming at worst it’s 450k. He was worth it at the time was great that year. Has regressed terribly.

My understanding is they can talk to them already but cannot discuss or make offers until Nov 1.
I find it hard to believe clubs would gauge interest from a player or Player Manager and not discuss $$$.

I think we'll be going hard for Papali'i. Why wouldn't he have re-signed if Parra could make him a decent offer. They just don't have enough money for everyone
