I’m not a huge fan of the man, but I thought he was strong in defence, just looked at his stats:

456 tackles at 85.7%

Not too different?

A large number of fans were outraged, so i've no doubt a few players were equally perplexed as to how Brooks was a co winner ahead of Doueihi. It's an incredibly poor decision that is the equivalent of just painting we accept and celebrate mediocrity on the front of every player's jersey.

No surprises brooks favourite. Just found our list of who we need to exit the club asap

I think it's fair to say that head to head a majority of fans and players thought Doueihi had a better season than Brooks. And he did. AD did his job fairly well, Brooks struggled with his. Both weren't consistent enough and defensively they're about he same too.

The truth is picking the least poor player for our season would have been very challenging.

But yes i think Stapleton should go. He's the boards representative on the football committee, and we've made a lot of bad decisions under his watch. Time to go. Jog on...

We've hand multiple players moved on over the years because they apparently overcalled Brooks and weren't letting him have control of the team. It's a common theme

It’s a good point. AD is a big bodily in the backs and as he ages he will bulk. I think his time in the halves may be limited. I think part of his defensive limitation is mobility.

Since junior days, I've always believed Doueihi is the Paul Langmack style of lock forward. Langmack was a great link between the forwards and backs and basically a very clever second 5/8. I'd like to see Doueihi in this role.
