I saw Pascoe today at Big W Macquarie Centre.
Asked him straight out if Hodgson is coming and he basically said we are waiting for Canberra to come to the party salary wise.
I said “but they don’t want him hey and he doesn’t wanna be there. So we have the upper hand”. He replied “yeah”.
BTW I didn’t realise he is quite tall

If this is true it actually shows what a poor position we are in as a club when the CEO is talking to supporters at the shopping centre about the details of contract negotiations.

Are you for real? He didn’t tell me the ins and outs of the negotiations. What do you want him to do, ignore me? I was polite to him and he was polite back to a fan

He can be polite by saying - yes we are in negotiations. Saying things like we need Canberra to come to the party and saying we have the upper hand are not really appropriate. Being professional is not saying unnecessary things.

Now it gets interesting. Api K an upgrade on Hodgson at 9 ability wise but probably blocks Simpkin’s path and not a leader like Hodgson.

Api isn’t a spring chicken.
But he is fitter than Hodgson.

Problem though is he isn’t much of a ball player and my thoughts are we are looking at Hodgson for this reason firstly.

Pros and cons with both…API offers more in speed,health and age.
Hogo offers more in leadership, direction and a kicking game, but fitness and age are a issue

One that has an issue (and rightfully so) with his coach.

One that stands by his soldiers till the end.
