JAC not coming. We have an unprofessional administration (maybe the worst in the league in terms of stature) and a hard ass coach, and a bad roster thats not top eight material. The dogs despite being poor for a while, have success ingrained, with deep pockets, some good purchasers, and Barrett's a nice guy. Looking at all the teams in the league we are probably last in terms of where people want to go. Sad but true. Need a new CEO, board, and either back the coach and pay overs for juniors or get a more liked coach, or just pray for another 2005 perfect storm.

Why do the Bulldogs have no forwards?

They put a number on us in our last encounter. Not bad for a team with no forwards

I thought is was more to do with the fact, we had nearly half of our FG starters out?

Laurie, Douehie, Mbye, Seyfarth, Tamou, Simpkins, have I missed someone?

Then of course we were down to 11 players at one stage?

Are seriously making excuses for that insipid effort?
The reason the Dogs put a score on us is because we fielded a pack of gutless cowards to face them.

I gotta say I agree with this . I’ve never understood how a punter sitting in the stands , or on a internet message board ,can have the audacity to call a guy who literally gets in 20-30 car crashes every week , a coward .

Lacking pride? Sure , that effort certainly pointed towards that , but calling them a coward , is next level .

Yeah no NRL player is a coward.

There seems to be a lot of rumour about Jacob but not many facts. I believe he is a fine player, one of our better players. We do not have too many of them.

Why are we giving up on Simpkin so soon? He's barely had a chance to play in reserve grade, let alone first grade in the past two years. Sure he wasn't very good in first grade, but he literally turned 20 yesterday and has showed enough to work with. How many hookers have made it to first grade as a teenager, let alone looked good doing so? Even Farah wasn't a regular until he turned 21 and he's one of the greatest hookers of all time.

We're more than a good hooker away from contending. Koroisau would be preferable as the better player, but I'd rather put the money towards signing young guys that could be with us for the long haul. Cotric or Lomax types. Let's try and time things so all our guys start to enter their peaks together rather than being a mix of washed up guys and juniors coming through, because we'll end up on the treadmill and having seasons like 2021 more often than not.

When Sheens gets here he will focus on the kids he wants to keep , you guys need to have some faith as we are not going to be able to keep them all

They could all be gone by then!!

We'd have lost 2 years worth of juniors and completely wasted everything. Our plan to make the finals is to build on our juniors, if we are too lazy and incompetent to attract the talent we recruited we're literally back to square one and the start of our next rebuild. Again .

Hopefully he has another big off season and is fitter to start 2022. He has some brilliance in him but we really need consistency rather than flashy.
