Maybe it's Stefano. He joined on a reported 300k or something, and usually after 12 months the media add 50% to that amount to make it more dramatic.

It's all a guessing game. There is bound to be at least one player on close to that amount of money at Sydney club that wants more money.


Agree, “stellar form” rules all players out leaving only Stefano. Some of his mates he played with have been on that Congo line.

If he does want to re-sign for that amount, I'll run the pen and paper to him. It seems like a bargain! Thanks Buzz for doing WTs a favour.

It is as valid as our opinion that "we heard it wasn't Luciano"

I saw Pascoe today at Big W Macquarie Centre.
Asked him straight out if Hodgson is coming and he basically said we are waiting for Canberra to come to the party salary wise.
I said “but they don’t want him hey and he doesn’t wanna be there. So we have the upper hand”. He replied “yeah”.

You're correct. Very unprofessional from a CEO to discuss ongoing private negotiations with a member of the public. Extremely amateur. He needs only say we're in talks with a number of players including Hodgson. That's it.

If the deal collapses then he can elobarate that they didn't chip in enough.

Defensively he's not worth anywhere close to 700k. 700k is your upper tier talent as a forward and I def don't see him there yet.

Our biggest problem has been recruitment and Hartigan was in charge of it. Our 2nd biggest problems was leaks.

How could a person who came from one of the most successful clubs in the game and with a record of success be the problem? And we bring back a plodder from the dead.
I don't normally get on the negativity nelly bandwagon but this club is bonkers if true.

In 'normal' circumstances I would agree.
This is the Wests Tigers we are talking about. Cochise has basically stated he is one of now three 'rats' that were caught in the leak trap. I'm not denying that may be true but it just sounds eerily familiar for us. Is it just Sheens is getting the band back together? Heaven help us if it is.

I have never in my life said that, Hartigan was one of the real assets of this club.

A hell of a lot of ifs and assumptions in your post Demps. Hartigan to the club was a huge asset. Unfortunately the wrong individual is going.
