Will be interesting to see what kids get the leg up under McDonnell as compared to hartigan, certainly a polarising figure warren, if you have ever met him, he has a high opinion of himself , I know at the dogs he made some very poor calls with recruitment and pushed a couple of kids heavily that didn’t even make reserve grade and gave them over the top money, time will tell how much say on recruitment he has moving forward. My hope is that 1 or 2 of the kids we have now really surprise and push for nrl in the next 6 months.

Who knows if dogs really gave him a go. It's funny how many times he's been in and out of the club.

Wasn't McDonnell here with Sheens in 2005?
Could be a Sheenious appointment.

Yes, and it was.

Think mcdonnell had a big part when we had the keebra connection.

If Storm dump Asofa -Solomona for refusing the jab they will be looking for a big prop -I" trust" we have Stefano upgraded and locked in.

What a great guy - not there for the money at all.

He'll probably give it all to charity.

Yeah! right!

Didnt realise Hodgson was managed by Isaac Moses, who hugely contributed to putting tis club in the position it is in today.
Id rathercompletely avoid dealing with him,but not at all costs if he has a player we are desperate for
And we SHOULDNT be desperate for a hooker with two shot knees turning 33 next year coming off a disastrous season where his immobility was cruelly exposed to such an extent he cldnt make the run on side despite collecting $900k
No wonder Raiders want to punt him..hes not the player he was 2 yrs ago
Hodgson was a dead man walking in ACT until Starling encountered issues with the law,but rite now Hodgson is their problem..and signing him accompanied my Moses wld double the risk
Stick with Liddle, who is a fraction the price and will be auditioning for his next job in 2022..hopefully with Madges replacement

Should never sign anyone from Moses stable - don't care who it is.

Hastings, Gildart, peachy....who is next Hodgson if raiders come to the party?

Good luck with Isaac Moses as his manager. There's some desperate people wanting Pearce let go and Brooks is part of the jigsaw. Will hold us to randsom for hodson until push comes to shove.

Don't get bullied Wests Tigers. Play the game to suit our team.

??‍♂️ Anyone? The myth @THE_POM something

@THE_POM has been quite and that says to me we have nothing going on until Sheen arrives in town and sorts through the paperwork on his desk.... Maybe we might pick up a left over reserve grader in Feb before deadline.. I really thought with all the money we had and spots available we would of picked up a quality player by now or even before Nov 1... It also amazes me how are keep getting sponsors without been able to attract a star player/s because If I was a paying sponsor I would like to see on field results improve and better exposure for my brand..:face_with_rolling_eyes said:
Mate it’s good to not have shit leak out. The Rats are gone imo.

It’s nice not to hear much delicate inside info trickle into places like this.

Yes I agree with this.
I don’t get why people are so desperate for “inside info”.
It’s all very gossipy..

Because it’s all we have to grasp onto

Yeah but it’s often incorrect or overstated.
There was a guy on LU claiming we had a centre and backrower pretty much signed a month or so ago. Both fell through.
It’s annoying.

Yeah but "that guy" was the Silverdale Phantom, pretty sure its either Alien or KT from the old days. He also said that he was "working with recruitment" on these deals which ended up being this guy sliding into the DM's of the player telling him how cool he is and how much the players would love it here. It was Elliott and was always rubbish'

No new signings.R we waiting on sheens to be here for recruitment decisions? I think we are negotiating with players/managers but r not going to pay overs wether we as supporters like it or not

The upside is we start fresh without Luke Brooks.

Really hope it happens for both parties. Brooks will improve under Joey Johns

Well then why didn’t we employ a dedicated halves coach to mentor Brooks.

Brooks will improve behind the Saifiti brothers, Klemmer , Frizell and with Ponga also creating havoc, Joey’s influence is just

Agreed. Compare that to our forward pack. Which is gotta be the worst in the NRL. Which really is our main issue. But that discussion is avoided like the plague.

WOODEN SPOON? I don't think so. Newcastle creating havoc?

I was under the impression that we beat them twice this season. To all the genuine WT fans out there, they will go ok next year. Don't listen to the doomsday mob on this forum. Most of then would not know a footballer if they fell over one. It will be a better year next year. Especially if we get a fair shake and a bit of luck during games for a change.

I don’t think we will get the spoon but here’s a question. If you were the Dolphins and had 30 spots to fill which Tigers players would you consider picking up?

Half of our young forwards. our fullback, Noffo, Hastings, AD, Brooks

Can we sign Laurie Daley or Brett Kenny , move brooks to 5/8 and get one of these blokes to assist him as a specialist trainer , Hastings to half and run the team

Sounds like a good idea.

Daley is over rated as a coach. Was a reasonable player but as we saw with SOO he canned Robbie for Nathan Peats...... I think that says enough about his judgement of talent & how to use it!

A reasonable player???!!!!! Haha in what world? He was an elite player and nothing less

A similar story with Coaches, Maguire, Bellamy, Stuart, Payten, any others?

With respect, Maguire, Bellamy are not in the class of the players listed. Payten certainly was a very good player but not at that level.

I didnt mean relating to playing ability. I meant as Coaching ability. Three of them have won premierships.
