Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

Can we really afford to let these players go when we should be strengthening the squad. Three back rowers all good players going to clubs in a stronger position than ours. We got a good one coming but geez with not alot out there and our strike rate poor Aitken ain't going to make any significant difference to what we have got.

I think you'll find it's a bit of a swap for Hopgood.

If I’m Sheens come November 1st

Frizzel and Tapine should have contracts waiting for them and we should be pushing hard for the pair……

8. Stefano Utoikamanu
9. Api Korasiau
10. Joe Tapine
11. Tyson Frizzell
12. Isaiah Papalili
13. Adam Doueihi

Best pack in the competition, solid pack for our rookies to come off the bench too

Luke Garner has dropped a bombshell on the Wests Tigers by quitting the club to sign with premiers Penrith.

News Corp can reveal the Panthers have planned for life after Canterbury-bound Viliame Kikau by landing Garner on a two-year deal to replace the blockbusting Fijian forward in their premiership-winning back row.

Garner had interest from a number of NRL rivals, including Parramatta, Newcastle and the Gold Coast Titans.

But in a blow for a Tigers club desperately trying to rebuild under coach Michael Maguire and head of football Tim Sheens, Garner will join the Panthers next season to fill the left-side void left by Bulldogs recruit Kikau.

Garner has informed the Tigers and Panthers of his decision.

The rangy 26-year-old has played 62 games for the Wests Tigers since making his NRL debut in 2018.
Good luck to Luke Garner,

He's probably sick of being a bit part player here and will now try and crack the Panthers starting squad.

Good Luck to him.

Funny that all of these three were part of our club at a stage Arana Taumata, Ryan Tandy and Matt Lodge.

In the end The Tally of premierships is the only thing that becomes History.

The Storm under Bellamy are no nonsense, Simple and Hard working. They play for 80Minutes.

This is where the Tigers are now headed after 20 odd years.

The Wins will come and the better players will stay
Really what about the only team in history to cause no winners in grand finals?? That will last longer than any success they have, will be mas

I would only take Frizell if it was for next year onwards for a 3yr deal.
I though he had a player option for next year which he hasn't kicked in yet.
