Oh come on champ, Laurie is a baby and most of what you said about his character is perception based.
He needs a good role model around him because what I'm hearing and seeing is he wants to contribute and fit in but he needs to be guided.
You can tell in interviews where he is with another player, he looks to his mate to answer the questions, he's shy and unsure of himself.
He is a Koori boy and is trying to fit in.
He is a bit like another brother in the Peach. When Peachy stuffs up he gets embarrassed and laughs which makes himself look like he's arrogant or couldn't care...far from the truth.
He loves his footy and is a real talent.
His injuries are attributed to the way he throws his small frame into the D on kick returns. He's a baby and needs coaching and encouragement.
If some people on the forum were coaches they oust Laurie only to have him go to the storm and be a star.
He was great last year in a slightly more organised backline and when he and AD got injured our season began to unravel.
Now we want him sacked because he's playing in a backline that's all over the shop 🤔
