Freddy is full of it....He always has a smart ass, smug look on his face when he is put on the spot....The game has given him so much, yet he has never had to "work hard" for what hes gotten after he retired. Anyone can coach the Blues, a team full of stars.....and earn the big buks for being the Blues Coach...I hope he takes on the Dogs gig and find out what its like to really earn the mega bucks he gets

If anyone can coach the Blues, Why'd we have a 10 year streak where the blues lost more often than not - That's his team.
Also, Runs the Hogs for the homeless charity (Or whatever it's called)
Getting out and around country Footy.

I'd take Thompson off the Dogs hands as long as they put in 50% of his reported $850k and we dont sign him for more than 2 more years

If that was the deal I still would be hard pressed to say done deal.

Just don't think he is even worth that much.

I’ve been told that Lodge is a huge change

Apparently management reached out to us, Sheens a big fan of Lodge as he brought him to the club originally and rates his work rate.

Haven’t heard anything besides that, just know there were talks and it progressed well

Sheens likes to keep everything in house, so unsure what’s happened since…. but the fact Mikaele has been released (a prop) the day after Lodge got released (a prop) makes me think we could see an announcement today

Lodge was signed 3 years after Sheens left, according to my mate Vic.

I agree Fred has cred. But he coached a side full time before and the chickens were shite. He is the kind of bloke that can FIFO and give a rep side that confidence to go out and play at the top level coz they respect his cred and he’s fun to be around and makes you have fun doing even the crappy stuff.
Still I am not a fan coz he seems to hate the Tigers and I hate they way he condescendingly puts us down.

I totally agree with what you said especially the charity work.
He was an absolute champion of a player and loved watching him play. SOO coach 👍
On the down side he has not got what it takes to be in media nor does his sleepy head sidekick Joey.
It's disappointing for me to miss their insight into league matters because of their morbid personalities.
Some people love 100% footy, immortal behaviour and 9's game coverage, it's a personal thing.

Hope nofo recovers quickly and is back playing for us soon must be killing him not being out there but concussions are no joke we have seen with players like papenhauzen last year the effects stay mentally for awhile
