Laurie most definitely isn't getting 600k. He's probably middle of the pack, if not a bit below when compared to the other fullbacks in the league. Obviously has a lot of the things you're looking for in an FB, but needs to put together a sustained run of good footy and, more importantly, injury free run.

He should get that if we decide he is our no 1 full back.

He should be given a go there. Someone else suggested it and I thought it was stupid but I'm on that bandwagon now.

I'd pick him at fullback If Laurie is out and we have AD, Hastings and Brooks in the team. It's worth a shot. If Laurie isn't performing I'd give him a shot as well.

Hodgson wasn't big. Shannon Gallant wasn't big either.

Although I have heard through the grapevine that Laurie is keen for a minimum of 600k per season and will happily leave if he doesn’t get it. Sounds like he’s enjoying being back with Naden and Peachey from his days in the riff

600k for fullback is alright but he's still away from getting that. He's still got a lot to learn.

They do. But do you think he's cemented his position yet? That's why we're going for Dykes supposedly. Get them to play off against each other and see who is better.

If he improved over next few weeks all good just see how he goes before demanding decent money

I agree with both sides here. You can value Laurie lower if he’s not the long term option and if he decides to walk that’s his choice.

Douehi or Hastings to 13.

But would be scared to move Hastings from 7.

Will be interesting to see how AD and Hastings play together as both are dominant players.

Brent Read just Said he won't be a flipper.

Said could take up a deal with a Sydney club this year but will take time making a decision for next year. Said a finals team as has been playing in low ranking teams which rules us out

Don’t think he would handle the defence in the front line, and his ball skills aren’t that good either.
