I like what Joffa is doing at lock. His ball playing is adding doubt now to defender's minds and adding a dimension to his game.

Westslife pod managed to get chammas on tonight.

They are very pro madge and club and were on the defence most the interview.

Chammas comments were interesting, said the club definitely asking themselves if madge is right for the club or can another coach improve us more.

While I know it's easy to be subjective and bang on about the injuries and how hard the players are trying, but the club are the only ones that know what the deal is and if they can be level headed and objective hopefully they can come up with the right decision.

Yep he's been excellent. Providing that extra ball playing option and creativity we are lacking with 3/4 of the spine out.

The problem is that it's gone well beyond this point. Madden wants a starting 7 role and personally I think he is up it. I also think other clubs will have noticed his good form.

I think we let him go unless we can somehow keep him as back-up but it's a loss.

We may have to lose another half as well. That means we may lose Brooks or Doueihi.

He's a starting Spine player. $250k is for players 15-20 in your 30 man roster

if Daine wants $600k minimum he's kidding himself. he's a world away from that amount of money. strung together two decent games after a month of poor footy and then has been injured ever since.

love the way he plays and has a very high ceiling but he's another contract away from commanding those dollars.

I'm yet to be convinced hes our full back solution...or is even committed to the club

That hasn't happened since Farah and Benji were playing for us. Since Brooks was 'given the keys' as he'd continually asked for, we'd been listless, rudderless and heartless. That's changed since Hastings got given the 7 and Brooks was demoted

Was the Brooks request written, verbal - or you just assuming he asked for “the keys”

Chammas is making it up he got called out for it by Gus Gould last year. Hardly a revelation any club is asking questions after 3 wins. He has no idea Read is the only one with any real info.
