If we are still talking long term three years time - why not give the Walker Brothers a go. They have backed themselves to make a difference in one year or walk. Two minds better than one with the demands and challenge required with this position. They want the position backed themselves, are talking in the here and now have approached Sheens. They seem more footy focussed than any other coaches And may generate some excitement around playing the game.

These were the last four years of the Walker Brothers' tenure at Ipswich.

I would've thought if that was the case, they'd just get in Ciraldo's ear about bringing him across once he's installed. There wouldn't be a hurry.

Personally, I couldn't think of much more of a waste of money than buying Charlie Staines.
