This is a really good point, I always wonder why other clubs and coaches can just move players on and bring new players in, in the click of a finger, yet we're expected to put up with the players garbage performances till the end of their contracts. Look at the dogs, they sign Woods a few months later they let him move on because of cap pressure. How, if it was us we would be stuck with his contract and forced to just deal with it.I’m keen to see how the new regime goes as far as moving underperforming players on. I’m hoping we can sign some young fast backs to at least put the pressure on selections moving forward. A fit Ken on one side is fine IMO.
I would caution to expect nothing of the sort if Ciraldo does in fact become next Tigers coach. The biggest plus with Ciraldo is the esteem in which he is obviously held, by the Penrith boys in particular. Very good chance he will drag a few with him if he joins us.
Intriguingly, the star fullback has been linked with a move away, with other clubs reportedly interested in his services from 2024, or potentially earlier if they could secure a release from the Tigers.
Any other mail?Luciano Leiluia will leave effective immediately
$ sposeSecond row is one position where we lack depth yet we release LL, what is in for the Tigers??
Sheens stated this year is a write off. There is no point keeping him.Second row is one position where we lack depth yet we release LL, what is in for the Tigers??
And what are we getting in return for releasing Luch early ? A kick in the nuts I suppose 🤦♂️Luciano Leiluia will leave effective immediately
Not great from that highlights package, but it's fairly normal for a 20 year old half/fullback.Wonder how his defence goes
His commentary has put me off 🤣🤣I would like to see Ciraldo as our coach but I don't think it will happen, in fact I'm 99% sure it won't. If he doesn't come then I'd like to see Flanagan in the job.
Now let me save you some time ... "boo", "hiss", "drug cheat", "player welfare", "should be in prison".
I know, I know.
Thanks Pom.Luciano Leiluia will leave effective immediately
Probably nothingAll contracts as everyone knows are currently on hold.
Not sure what we are getting in return from Cowboys.
I wouldn't be so sure. Moylan was sensational against the Warriors and looks like he's getting back to the form that put him in a Blues jersey a couple years back. the way he digs into the line and squares up to create space for Kennedy is first class.
I'm not sure on what the go is with Dykes but he's probably got a clearer pathway to first grade at WT than he does at Cronulla. he's certainly got the skillset to become a regular first grader, if he comes here it'll be a pre-season shootout between him and Laurie.
edit: just saw the highlights of the Jets v Newcastle from this weekend. Dykes was sensational. there is a quality footballer there that should be in first grade
no chance dykes leaves the sharks he wouldn’t risk coming hear an ruining his career before it even starts1. $
2. Moylan is being re-signed last I heard in the Shire.
3. Braydon Trindall
Also Ciraldo from what we have read is well liked by players. If they chose to follow him when off contract, that would be their decision.I would caution to expect nothing of the sort if Ciraldo does in fact become next Tigers coach.
Previous hopes of well-connected signings proved the undoing of the Tigers in 2018, and if anything, Penrith have shown their major strength right now is the cohesion of the playing group - very very hard to pry key players away.
Not one of the above mentioned would regret leaving, they've all kicked on. We need to create a better environmentThanks Pom.
We continue to be an easy target to get railroaded into releasing someone.
Joins the illustrious list of Mitchell Moses, Ryan Matterson, Ivan Cleary, Oshay Aloy.
Does this mean the Dykes deal has fallen over? All contracts as everyone knows are currently on hold.
Not sure what we are getting in return from Cowboys.
