put Madden or Brooks in that team with latrell and Walker and cook they would fireYeah but he’s better than both of them some 1 has made a wrong decision there
He’s no better than Madden. Just surrounded by a strong pack and a couple of superstars. How did we loose Lachlan ilia’s? Local junior
There has been plenty of those over the years, and unfortunately I see more coming.Yeah but he’s better than both of them some 1 has made a wrong decision there
I agree 100%. Ilias is terrible. He isn't even the best half at Souths. Hawkins and Taafe are both better. The selection of Ilias could coat souths a premiershipput Madden or Brooks in that team with latrell and Walker and cook they would fire
Illias is massively over rated
He’s been great he’s played every game he’s defence has been fantasticIllias has done a fine job in his first year in FG. He is far from terrible.
I would take Taffe any day, would love to see him in Tiger colours.I agree 100%. Ilias is terrible. He isn't even the best half at Souths. Hawkins and Taafe are both better. The selection of Ilias could coat souths a premiership
There is a reason demitrio is picking Ilias he is a far better player than Taffe. Taffe is to smallI would take Taffe any day, would love to see him in Tiger colours.
I read at the start of the season, so cant remember the exact details. But, i think it was, he broke his leg pretty bad during contract negotiations when at the Tigers. It was expected to be a long recovery with no guarantee he would get back to his best. 3 months later his leg was healed, and he was playing Aus Rugby Schoolboys and got signed by Souths. How did we loose Lachlan ilia’s? All this Pap nonsense gotta stop.
He is signed, his management has confirmed that he is coming and Players association and NRL are on board also.
As for next years roster and what spots we still have available ….. I’m assuming Stains Peach swap goes ahead and we have as undecided and probably / possibly elsewhere in Gildard, Simpkin, Simpkins and Brown. Then that leaves us with 23 spots taken.
Brooks and Musgrove we assume with us but that can change.
So all in all I believe there are still lots of deck chairs to be moved around before Sheens and co. are satisfied we have what we want for 29 out of 30 settled before next season kickoff.
Next month and a half will tell us a lot as to what out top 17 will look like for 2023.

I remember Benji saying that about Milne.Ironically Benji played a big roll in him going to South’s had big wraps on him. In saying that Benji also said Taane Milne had the best in and away he’d seen when he signed with us.
I don’t see the hype with Ilias personally but could become more polished he’s only a pup.
