Whoa whoa just hold your horses mate! Let's de-escalate this situation.

As a coach, I always look at players who i think have a high ceiling but are cheap or under performing.
Im like Melbourne storm in this way.

I thought the same about meaney. Good footballers, fast, skills, good feet, that struggle in a beaten pack.

Meaney, like Gildart, has had great success in lesser grades.

I think gildart with some room and less pressure, is capable of real rape down the edge.
Give it a break…

Re Staines good news I guess ? Whatever you do don't lose Laurie one player who tried his guts out every week . He's either 1 or 6 .Just curious could Staines play center we are light on there ?
I have read a lot of mixed views onLaurie.
One thing most (who support him) will agree, he gives his all.
Bit like Brett Hodgson and Corey Thompson

To me personally, I rather take effort over skill, some skilled players put in less effort

player effort is always a great sign , you add the skill to that player , weather it’s defence or attack a player who tries his guts out will with good coaching become very good player , may not be rep quality but will be In your team each week
Pole will be the perfect example , he’s tries hard and with good coach will become very good
