Put Brooks in Ressies - He's not only the best half, He's the best player in the comp.

Unlucky for you ..Then again, so am I( type 2), but that’s not what I’m on about. Maybe leave diabetes’ outside of it next time , please.
Wouldn't mind a genuine centre....Assuming we have locked in Klemmer and Bateman, is our recruitment for 2023 finished?
What gaps do we need to fill?
Captain Brookshe won't play 80 though so you need 2 or a vc
Yeah was thinking the same way.Wouldn't mind a genuine centre....
HalfbackAssuming we have locked in Klemmer and Bateman, is our recruitment for 2023 finished?

Naden is the only legit option really.Yeah was thinking the same way.
Current options are:
To'a
Naden
Kepaoa
Talau
Definitely need a quality centre. If we can do that we round out a pretty good off season in terms of recruitment.
Thing is when the close games have been on the line brooks shows nothingIt would seem to some that Luke Brooks is almost solely responsible for the Tigers poor record of the last 9 years.
Just because he was a part of the problem doesn't MAKE him THE problem.
To simply point a finger at one individual & suggest his performances alone made the team play poorly is very short sighted.
This isn't defending Brooks, as some would likely want to suggest it is. Just saying that there are generally multiple factors that go toward any kind of failure.
And just because he was part of the problem doesn't automatically mean he can't be part of the solution.
Closing games isn't one of his strengths.Thing is when the close games have been on the line brooks shows nothing
True.Thing is when the close games have been on the line brooks shows nothing
A very decent centre or two would be nice.Assuming we have locked in Klemmer and Bateman, is our recruitment for 2023 finished?

Tigers want to be a club that promotes it's junior depth. You can't halt whatever progress Naden, Kepoua, Talau, Falou etc were making by bringing in guys to bump them down the list. These guys have first grade experience now- it's not like Pole, Matamua etc who have a handful of games to their name. Experience up front makes sense. Let the young guys play out wide. Another young winger to develop, or a 5/8 to develop perhaps?Assuming we have locked in Klemmer and Bateman, is our recruitment for 2023 finished?

Take this half for e.g Chad TownsendTrue.
And neither did a majority of his team mates.
No doubt he has let himself down on a number of occasions. And no doubt he hasn't lived up to the expectations put on him. I'd go as far as suggesting he hasn't handled the expectations well at all.
But then again, he's ALSO the guy that was Dally M halfback of the year. So it's not as though he's always terrible.
If Sheens has decided this is the guy he wants at #7, I'd rather Sheens has him, instead of having to settle for the guy he didn't want at #7.
I think Naden and AD would be okA very decent centre or two would be nice.
The Roosters were terrible in 2016. Pearce was MIA most of the start of the season due to a lost dog. When Hastings played half his 5/8 was at times Jayden Nikorima, Guerra or Matterson. Hastings played 5/8 4 times to Pearce at half towards the end of the season. Maloney was at Cronulla in 2016. Keary was at Souffs in 2016.Oh he must have been a naughty boy I’m sure 🥱
Also had Pearce and Keary in front of him.
I’m sure you were there in the Easts dressing room to get all the gossip though… although I doubt your big head or inflated ego would fit through the door. 🤣🤣🤣

If the club is looking at another experienced player- Nathan Brown to add some starch off the bench.
