$900,000 centre 😥

If MM is getting snared for that AD is zero chance of getting close to that from any club to play in the halves.

A strike centre would be pushing 700k with cap changes, AD doesn't have runs on the board as a strike centre so he would be in for a reality check if the reported 900k is on the mark (which I doubt is the case).

Reported 900k : surely that's a joke hey.
I also have my doubts but we will see how this plays out.

Not sure what he thinks his value is though.

Personally, would love to see him stay and make a long career at the Tigers - however he fits, with what's best for the team.

Just on Douehi - friend told me he made a speech at end of year school assembly at his old school last week and also where his little sister now attends. Apparently was beyond impressive - and a very honest account of how he wasnt that good at sport and only got some self belief after encouragement from his then sports teacher. Regardless of what happens with the club in the future and on the footy field, very decent young fella off it.

Yep I like his general temperament and makes our squad stronger. But he’s not 900k 5/8th either…has he played a good 80 minutes 2 games straight yet?

Patchy year this year for him.

Think he's still a prospect that needs time to sharpen his skills and become complete.

Not sure that'll be with this club, based around what we've heard Sheens and recent interest in other players who play in his position such as Moses, Munster and Brown.

I saw some one call him the Lebanese Mbye and although I think he has the potential to be better than Mbye, it seems to becoming true.

I think 6 is his best position but if he's coached and left to develope / settle in ONE position I could see him going far... at centre, 5/8 or as a forward.

I'm a big fan but the team comes first and we'll see what the future holds for him as it unfolds.

A lot of people only remember AD's football from this season gone. Coming back fro a ACL is a long and slow road
I want to see what he delivers in 2023 before writing him off. He would be a great captain as he has passion in his belly, finding the right position for him to play will be the challenge

I really don't believe that Doehi is asking for anything near $900,000 but if he is then he certainly has his self belief working.

Possibly, but we were short on troops and the medical team would be better placed to know the risks. Players carry on through injury all the time.

Given he is already back training and doesn’t appear to have any strapping suggests to me they made the right call.
Yes the Medical Team worked wonders on Henry O’Kane completely incompetent with his leg injury diagnosis
Maybe that’s why last year’s Rehab team is no longer at the club.

I agree with all of this except your final two sentences.
Mitch left in the worst way possible.
He threw games and faked mental health conditions to gain his release.
I’m not singling out your post. Rather using it to make a general point for those in the Moses = bad camp.

Firstly, I can understand the hate. I was pretty annoyed by the whole thing myself at the time, but can we all imagine that we were eternally judged by one thing we did in our 20’s and were completely written off for all time?

I think some leeway is needed for dumb things people do when they’re young. He’s been a relative cleanskin since then and seems to have matured as a footballer. We might be getting a better version of him?

Mate alot of it not most of them are on ridiculous money for their output - but if they can get it can't blame them.

Most strike centres in the game are playing fullback barring Manu ....and he is a fullback in waiting

Thx mate.

This is about the men that we want to be in battle with.

AD is critical to creating a great culture that is all for the club and its fans.

2nd ACL as well SC .....even harder again ....not many make it back after 3 ...that has to enter his mind regularly

No I think you missed the point last year’s medical team were hopeless.
Do you think that if Ken didn’t play it would have effected our position on the ladder.
Well that’s easy to say in hindsight isn’t it? We should have just given up in round 1, it wouldn’t have changed our position anyway.

The fact he is already training suggests there were no long term effects of him pushing through his injury, unless you have evidence to prove otherwise?
