?????? - A six year option? FFS

"The Parramatta Eels have received a huge boost, with star five-eighth Dylan Brown extending with the club until at least the end of the 2025 season.

Brown’s extension was announced by the Eels on Monday morning, with an option in the 22-year-old’s favour to remain at Parramatta until 2031.
Brown is almost a carbon copy of Johnston, brilliant one day, and asleep the next. Moses set up nearly all their attacking moves, and Brown played off the back of him. He will not be the same player without Moses calling the shots, AND THE EELS KNOW IT. They will give Moses what he wants. Sad to say!

The Eels know it? That's why have given him the option of a 6 year extension on his contract?

He is a good player in his own right. Yes, still needs to find consistency, but if/when he does, he will be taking a huge leap. He's a great young player who will keep developing.

Interesting article here on Munster's reason for staying with Melbourne - a reason I agree with too.

But he goes on to say this, at the bottom of the page, which potentially means his move was between Tigers, and Storm..

“I was legit just waiting until November to have a look at my options and see what options I had. There was lots of speculation about Redcliffe but I didn’t have any formal offers.”

His consistency was what i was referring too, and i don't think he's ready as a leader, if ever.
Moses is the leader at that club, and Brown would be lost without him there,. Not to say he would not play well, but the whole side would find it a lot harder without Moses.

Most clubs would find it a lot harder without their halfback.

Except maybe us, who would probably be better off.

A lot of us are thinking Browns deal is pretty silly with the two 3 year extensions, but they kick in in 2026 if he takes the option, I'm wondering if Browns contract has been structured in this really bizarre way to back end his deal to re-sign Moses on a 2 year extension ending in 2026. The money they save on Browns deal is used to top up Moses for 2 years by which time they don't care if he moves on because he is in his early 30s get a cheap foil for Brown who takes charge of the team by then enacting his first 3 year extension whereby the excess money saved by signing a junior or cheaper replacement for Moses is given to Brown for taking unders in the first two years of the deal to keep Moses there. Just my 2 cents.

Guess what , DOGS now linked to storm Forward ast
Nelson asofa solomona linked to the Dogs, surely they can't get him, Crichton and Moses?
they really have got the accountant From the roooters , surely the NRL would have to be asking questions about how the hell they could fit them all under the cap

How would you possibly draw that conclusion?
What a dumb thing to say....
Fair chance there's more work in Moses contract than Browns....
Just because it's "announced" first - Means very little.

Different Managers, Different Time tables... etc.
You obviously don’t work in business

I knew his P.A when he was at the Waratahs and Wallabies. She said he was the hardest working person she had ever worked with in Sport Admin. No stone was ever last unturned. He would be up working to midnight regularity then back earlier the next day.
Brilliant man manager and would be a huge help to any football department, especially ours. However the ARU is rumoured to be interested in recruiting him to replace the current incumbent for the Wallabies head coaching gig ahead of the next Rugby World Cup.
