We could’ve kept luke and Jackson and chosen who was best after a few games.

With Api and Hastings I honestly beloved we were top 8.

With Api and Brooks I think we’re bottom 4.

I sadly agree.

Api will be quality, at least for his first year.

I am really looking forward to Robbie Farah working with Api Koroisau and I reckon Robbie will have a few tricks up his sleeve and might add a slight playmaking dimension to Api. The difference being API will play a solid hooker and give good ball to the halves.

Which is why I totally agree with you, Hastings + API means we will have a spine working together. Brooks + Api means Brooks is going to get the best ball delivery of his career....

?? Brooks time to perform. ok that was five years ago but you better deliver now.

While on Newcastle, I kinda disagree. 6 months ago they may have traded Klemmer without a swap. Now I could see them holding out. IMHO Hastings was far too big a prize, we could have offloaded AD.

Look it's not that.

Sualii is going to milk their cap.
Tedesco is probably on a million or close too. Manu is approaching an 800k value.
Sualii will want 1.3 million minimum.

Easts won't be able to have all three of those and still hire RTS. That's why Paul Momo is so valuable too them, 200K cheapie and has played finals.. WHY he is a 200k cheapie I have no idea.

No it makes no sense to me because you have said both "management are having a crack" and then complaining that management did not take the NRL to court, which I can only assume is not having a crak. So I can't follow what on Earth you are talking about.

But don't bother trying to explain it, because I fear you'll just fall over your own words again.

But that's not the reason I would sign RTS.

Both are money grabbers. Moses, far more so though. You guide your team to the grand final and if he steps away from Parra now. It would be a chief act of disloyalty.

Sure, if Parra were punting him.

Honestly I do not get this... What is up NRL:
Easts, flip players like they are trading cards. Kicking Mitchell Pearce to the curb.
Parra, for all it's faults stood by Moses with his rough patch. They get saddled with Gutho and Matterson... Matterson who treats League like a 9-5 job at maccas.

WHY is everyone so Loyal to Easts. It's a Flight deck club that punts people like nothing.

Moses runs from Parra after building them like this, he would run from us at a drop of a hat (like he did before).

Yes us at the Tigers have to make hard decisions and pick a team that wins. RTS would get across the line more and defend harder. Moses would only structure our attack but Sheens can have us play an unstructured attack. RTS would go better with Sheens coaching.

Dudes, it's a football game.

I want to see guy kick the ball. Guy pick up the ball. Guy score the ball.

The refereeing sucks. We were dudded, we are going to yell at the ref and Gordon Tallis next game when we see them!

I am always baffled at how serious our Sport we watch for fun is... and how trivial our serious stuff is now! We need to do what the WWE would do, go to court, have the Judge removed his wig and be revealed to be Wally Lewis with Blocker Roach as the defence and Tim Brasher as the Attack. They all jump out, run to the field and help us win the next game because the ref stuffed the last one.

Cmon who doesn't want to see that?
 
As one of the regular pessimists of this sub, I can say I am pleasantly surprised with every decision we've made innthe last 12 or so months. Even the Madge decision. We should significantly improve next year, and the foundation should be set for Benji in 2025. I feel very confident about where we're heading.

It just feels like we've made correct decision after correct decision for a while now.

And just so I'm clear, I really just want to get excited about our players again, and I feel next year we have too many good ones to not be excited about.

We need both now, if I had to choose it would be RTS. I am not a Moses fan due to his poor character and would be concerned with a big long contract. RTS would help us up the ladder and make us look more desirable when shopping for the “run the team half” we need, and the halfback tree has no ripe fruit on it for next year anyway, so RTS buys us a little time to shop.
Surely the rorters and the cheats have a stock pile of gun halves playing reggies to pick through.
Once further up the ladder and with a few gun players in the team one of those halves might be persuaded not to wait any longer for the opportunity to play nrl.
