I’m not 100% confident he’ll do much with this squad but he’s the only one who’s got us to a truly meaningful game in our history. I’m not sure he can overcome the issues above him but so far he’s made a huge difference in recruiting. Bootlicker is strong but I think he’s Pascoe’s best decision by a country mile.

Like I said on a another post, I’m cautiously optimistic. I’m happy with the Klemmer and Bateman signings (the IP and Api signings were Madge signings). He’s got arguably our best line up since we had Moses, Tedesco and Woods here (not to mention easily our best forward pack since Ellis was here) so I expect us to at least be competitive for the 8, even with the backs being underwhelming.

Considering no one else of significance wanted the job and the search was being led by Sheens, I won’t give Pascoe credit for that.

Also IMHO, I would seriously pay good coin for an outstanding Centre. If not Joey Manu then Justin Olam.

I am actually. Especially of his attacking style of play and of course the premiership. However, I refuse to have blind faith in him (or anyone frankly) given he hasn’t achieved anything of relevance in RL in over a decade and the shady nature in how he got the coaching gig.

Im happy to wait and see until the season is done but at the same time, I won’t sit here and watch his shills act like he is the second coming and can do no wrong when history shows otherwise. Not to mention some of the blatant lies and rewriting of history being peddled (like Api and IP being signed because of Sheens)

I like Crichton and see upside but just not convinced he will cut it as a fullback, his ball playing ability needs alot of work. He looked very ordinary at the back for the Panthers. He will be 23 end of this season so plenty of growth years ahead of him.

I agree. A very capable athlete but I would have concerns about his ability to spearhead an attack, rather than be the beneficiary of good lead-up work.

That is about the most articulate and well written post I have seen from you.
I am a fan, anyone who wins me a gf I got a soft spot for, but yeah the jury is still out for me too. He may not have gotten Api and IP over the line but did alright with some others. Shame we had to let Hastings go but I’ve been a fan of Klem and wanted him bad when he signed for the knights.
Anyway life’s short and I’ve only won one gf, so get me another please Tim and bring the jury back in.

I’m only crediting him for bringing Sheens in as head of whatever when the club was a laughing stock. Brought back a little bit of credibility.

It seems that the antagonism creeps into all the threads lately,but only the selected ones are satisfied....
Nothing wrong with having differing opinions,thats what life is all about,good discussions can be satisfying to all parties...Its the ones who think their opinion is the only one that matters are the ones who start becoming bitter and argumentative....

That is an interesting perspective. I think it has as much truth in it as stating the Ukraine hasn't actually been invaded by Russia.

It's another good decision from the mods in my eyes. Too many trolls coming onto this forum to peddle their nonsense because they aren't allowed to peddle it anywhere else on the Internet.

I believe we've recruited well up front. It all starts in the pack and with a successful hooker and hard working above-average forwards mixed with talented kids should result in some success.

I'm still out on Sheens. Hope we see something out of it, but could just as easily go the other way. Compared to potentially landing Ciraldo, I think Sheens was the better bet.

CB, my life is good atm,I have been employed after a few months off and I have turned the negative into positive,having said that,I mentioned the politics thread because it "CAUSED ANTAGONISM" and yet people are being somewhat the same way in other threads...thats the point Im making mate or are you talking from a mods point of view,free speech is one thing double standards are another,especially for the select few...
