I can understand keeping Sheens and Macca out of it but i hate the idea of Lee and Pascoe getting involved with player signings,they seem to have done nothing but damage in the past imho.

The only reason I think Hagi and Pascoe would be involved at the preliminary stage of talks with player agents, and it would be fair, would be to give the WT vision and where they're going and then hand overt to recruitment and the coaching staff to talk about what and where they wanted players to come in to do. The other piece of the puzzle is what players Tartak manages.

The more I'm watching him, the more Bateman is playing that quasi-lock role. He drifts around the field a fair bit. He's definitely someone looking to create- and if there was a thought that someone like Nathan Brown could be our lock, then for sure Bateman can be. Not surprising that Brooks & Wakeham have looked better since Bateman gets the ball more regularly too.

Maybe a second rower that runs a good line is a short term need after all, if only to give Kepoua a challenge to that role. And a centre to go with To'a.

That’s what I was thinking. It’s good to maintain depth as well as you can’t always field your best 17 with injuries. Joe O certainly helps with that. Just hope whatever is brewing improves us rather than backfires.

Only a couple of names could REALLY be a possibility using the Tartak stable- Richie Kennar & young Kalo Kalo at Souths possibly, Jack Bird?

Realistically? It has to be Schuster. He fits.

Might not be anything other than Sheens was at training with the squad at the time, Fulton could easily discuss with Sheens who to chase and meet with the manager while Sheens is busy

If this club can continue to bring in young players like it has brought jr toupu pole and Bula through.
it’s gonna be so exciting to see what they can do with the next crop with da silver miller and faaguttu and many more to add to that list

The top 3 have come in and looked like first graders from day dot that is something that hasn’t happened at this club for years

Not only that Finnzo we usually bring kids in who show glimpses and grow over time, apart from Tedesco I can't remember the last time we had kids come through that were game breakers and match winners.

That is a good comment and i earnestly hope you are right because so far their negotiating skills seem to be terrible

Just the usual way they go about things.

Let players go and have no one to replace them and have to promote some nuffie to make up the numbers because the player they had in mind says no thanks and is only using us to up their contract value or conditions with someone else, meanwhile our chairman is spruiking to the media that it's a done deal.

Actually, it's not limited to players only, I vaguely recall a similar situation with a coach sacking and the frantic fiasco that followed.

For me on the offa situation, I’m beginning to really trust the process we are going through. Maybe sheens benj and Robbie see something in a younger kid than what we do. Wasn’t long ago people were adamant jahream wasn’t ready and we would be dumb to throw him in now and look how that turned out junior was the same. Some players step up when thrown in the deep end others don’t maybe they see James or someone else as ready to fill that hole that offa will leave
