We shall see, I'd bet he will get a fair bit more on the open market than what the tigers offered.as soon as we present a contract in and around his actual worth he’s off.
"A slew of options will hit the market on November 1 including Luke Metcalf, Talatau Amone and Tom Dearden. Penrith’s Jack Cogger is available from season 2024."

Agreed but Mam will get a big payrise from Broncos given Reynalds likely retiring after 2025.Ezra mam top priority imo
Then one of Townsend or Foran to usher the younger generation in
We shall see, I'd bet he will get a fair bit more on the open market than what the tigers offered
I know we’d most likely have to wait a year but would be worth it imoAgreed but Mam will get a big payrise from Broncos given Reynalds likely retiring after 2025.
Also doesn't really help us for next year.
My point being you said it was a reasonable offer, I don't believe the reported $550K is reasonable if he can get $700K or $800K elsewhere. He may have been happy to take a lower than market offer, but it seems we lowballed him. Hence my point, we shall see, if he gets the $800K or you are right and he is only able to attract offers around $500KI like how you cherry picked one line from a whole post, i said he's been on "overs for years, not his fault" as soon as we offer a more reasonable contract he's off. I don't think im far from the mark saying that, think we can all agree he was never and is not a million dollar player.
So he was happy to take the overs but not happy to stick around when the contract is at a reasonable level for his ability.
He's been able to field offers for ages, if he gets more good luck to him. Its probably in his and our best interests we go separate ways. Im not a huge fan of Brooks but seeing there wasnt much on offer i would have been ok if he stayed.
Its strange how you have to be all for Brooks or against him, look at it over his 10 year period he hasnt delivered for whatever reason time to move on.
the "plan" Im referring to is Fainu, but its hardly a plan. They are chasing him hard, but he is still a kid and hardly the answer for NRL . Might be 2 years away.As per usual the backup plan is non existent, as is this case every time this regime undertakes something
Sounds like Warriors stuff themselves a bit by signing one too many halves for 2024. Taking the worst half they have would only help them.I would be looking for either Trindall or Volkman as halfback asap, resign Wakeham to provide depth and competition. For the five eight position I want to see what Laurie does over the next few weeks as think with a good controlling half he has plenty of potential at 5/8
Then we save our cash and look for a big name half or five eight but don't rush till we find the right one
I'd be happy with fainu.the "plan" Im referring to is Fainu, but its hardly a plan. They are chasing him hard, but he is still a kid and hardly the answer for NRL . Might be 2 years away.
I saw your point and its fair enough, but my point was he's been paid well and truely above his ability for years. Again not his fault but the way i see the offer is righting the wrong, he obviously see's it differently good luck to him. So he is more money orientated which is fine but many people say he's loyal i beg to differ. My point being you said it was a reasonable offer, I don't believe the reported $550K is reasonable if he can get $700K or $800K elsewhere.
