I think he’s struggling a bit fitness wise and where to fit in. That’s why if he’s gunna be our 2rf he needs a full offseason with the team. He is only declining from here so he also needs to make the most of what he has left over the next few years, or it will be a bust for us. I will give him a break bcoz of the bungled way our professionals got him here late this year, but not next season he needs to be a gun and a leader on the field.

They will probably offload To’o as well to save themselves some cash to retain Luai.
Meanwhile we will keep persisting with boring backs who cannot make a tackle bust and do not have enough speed to score long range tries.
I’ll exclude To’a from the about comment as he makes plenty of tackle busts and makes his fair share of line breaks.

I can’t talk of others “claims”…

Personally I was much more optimistic about the teams chances this year compared to last season… I tipped them to win less than 5 games and get the spoon in 2022… this year I thought they would win about 8 or 9 games and come 12th to 14th….

This year has been a much more disappointing outcome in my view…
 
FYI on the Sullivan topic - I posted here before that personal terms are not an issue as Sullivan wants the move to us over Newcastle. Very good pitch from the club is the word and he didn't really consider anywhere else.

Where the issue lies is Flanno being reasonable with the release - they don't want to chip in and we don't want to pay full freight. Sullivan now pushing hard for the release isn't working in favour for Flanno and I find it extremely unlikely he'll be anywhere else in 2024 especially within the squad when Flanno officially takes over.

Any idea if he’s being told we are signing him as a 6 or as a 7 ?
