Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

How much would we need to chip in? Then how much would the SuperLeague club have to pay? I imagine it would take a significant pay rise for someone to uproot his life and move overseas when the option to remain here on 500K exists.
Considering all this, I dont see a move to Super League for 24 at all likely (but maybe for 25 if he can an extended deal over there).
We'd probably have to pay 200-250k for him to leave. He'd do well in the UK so hopefully he realises this and takes up that option.

What about Galvin and Large, I would not be chasing Luai
I think there is an opportunity to play Large at fullback in 27 would like to hear King Robbie's option on this .............. Bula could be out the door off to the Rooster's

Catalan Dragons have 8 players leaving this year , Bayley Sironen is a signing. That standard of competition would surely suit some of our players, possibly a winger.

It's as real a rumour as I have ever had given to me,
Seems unlikely anything can stop it so we'll all need to learn to love Luai
Wests Tigers and time spent in the huddle under the goal posts should humble him a touch so I'd say the arrogance will come down several notches
Yeah right, happy to have him if its true. That would mean 2024 is a shoot out for Latu and Buddy for number 7 in 2025. Surely a spine of:
1. Bula
6. Luai
7. Sullivan/Fainu
9. Korisau with TDS coming off the bench

Will get us back to Finals in 2025!!!

I would have signed Morgan Harper purely so we don't make the [This word has been automatically removed] look like Meninga.

Surely it’s a higher chance of either Fainu, Galvin or Large becoming an NRL superstar than paying massive money to sign Luai and hoping he would come to Wests Tigers with the right motivation, drive and hunger to help make us an NRL force.
No doubt Luai at his best is a brilliant player, I just think it’s highly likely he would be very unmotivated if he left the Panthers.

Api seems motivated
Luai seems a competitor to me plus he’s got 5+ good years when he arrives he’ll be 27

API appears to be much more switched on type of person than what Luai is.
I think it will hurt us much more long term if we lose any of Fainu, Galvin or Large.
We need to keep our own, be patient and let them grow into the immensely talented NRL players they promise to be.
