Though once the review is over, and the new GM appointed, we may look to whether a separate juniors recruiter is required. I'd have no doubt the position was offered to Warren as a token gesture, not part of a larger strategic plan.

10 players for the Balmain lower grades

Conti left because Anasta is his manager and he hates us. Pure and simple. Anasta used Galvin getting prioritised above Conti as an excuse to get him to move.

Also I'm sure I read at the time of his appointment that Fulton is recruitment and retention manager for the NRL squad, he'd have little to do with pathways kids. (Nor should he until they are approaching the age where they can be part of the Snr squad)

They offered the Pathways recruitment role to McDonnell before he threw his toys out of the pram. I'm sure the pathways has it's own recruitment person.

Anasta didn’t like us grabbing Fainu. He knows if Fainu excels Conti and others don’t fit it’s why he was vocal about Fainu and not the others.

I don’t rate him anymore, let him go!

Said when we grabbed him would be a wasted roster spot and then we extended him. We make some crazy decisions at times. He just isn’t NRL week in week out quality.

God I wish we could see the young halves we have for a year , and luai next year . It’s such a huge gamble to sign him especially if Fainu / Sullivan does something . We seriously will end up with Reynolds situation where someone good is wasting away in the 14 .
I hate this whole signing 2 years out rubbish . It’s so ridiculous . Literally the only job I. The world where your contract runs out but you can sign your next one whilst on your current .
The players act like they’re the only people in the world living contract to contract .
How the brl allowed this mess to begin with is beyond me .. anyways rant over

NRLPA are to blame. They don't give a stuff about the overall health of the game, grassroots or fans. Only $$$ for the top players
