Galvin’s a toughie because his future is absolutely out of the halves but he could very easily kick up a stink given who his manager is. Mason I see as a 14 in the mould of Connor Watson, but he too could crack the shits if he wants to play in the halves more permanently.

Galvin could easily play in the centres like Wighton did in origin , or fullback or wing .. very similar player to Wighton as Jack was when 18
 
We're shuffling the deck chair around, it was pretty obvious we'd have to move on a few to flesh out the squad.
Reilly had promise but we need a bit more than promise off the back of 2 spoons, Webster-Mansfield i dunno a lot about other than hearing he was decentish. Sometimes the one's you want to move on are the one's you can't move on so you're onto the next tier of talent.
 
The Wests Tigers have reportedly signed Fijian international forward Gordon Whippy for the upcoming 2024 season.

Aged 21, Whippy has signed with the club on a supplementary contract but could move up to the NRL level later in the season. Multiple players in the past have played in the NRL after beginning the season on a supplementary contract.

Whippy's past saw him begin with the Canberra Raiders as a youthful 18-year-old and saw him draw comparisons to a young Sonny Bill Williams.

He would then spend time in the South Sydney Rabbitohs development system before spending the 2023 season with the Ipswich Jets in the QLD Cup competition.

Recently making his debut for Fiji Bati alongside Jahream Bula, Whippy also represented the country in both swimming and athletics, indicating he is a natural athlete.

"Gordon has done a great job and this is a big opportunity for him," his manager, former NSW and Kangaroos star Matt Adamson told Wide World of Sports.

"He is big and strong and still has a lot to learn but he is very keen and the Tigers should be a good for for him."

Agree..Reilly is turning 25 in January … he might still come good … but the Tigers need somebody who is ready to play Round 1

I liked Mansfield Webster too, looked a decent prospect.... the club freeing up spots and he got the chop.

Reiley had more wraps from some and also got the chop.

It's all business.
This move looks to strengthen our team nonetheless.
Interesting times ahead!

Slightly disappointing to hear Reilly and Mansfield have been released.
Reilly showed great intent in his few games for us towards the end of the 2023 season and I really thought he could make the necessary improvements to become a good regular NRL player,
Mansfield is a big mobile unit who has progressed through our grades and showed good tackle breaking, line busting ability.
I’m sure they are making room for some much more high profile recruits which I assume will be needed to help with the confidence of our young playmakers.
