Someone bragging about having scoops? LOL...Define obese?
Absolutely no inside information but, looking from the outside...
IF the Tigers were to actually sign AFB, we have an overabundance of pricey middle forwards. However, the Warriors (reportedly) are interested in Ice & Stef.
IF the Tigers were to actually sign Luai, the Panthers are interested in Klemmer.
So....if we sent Ice to the Warriors for AFB, and Klemmer to the Panthers for Luia, we don't lose in the middle, get stronger in the halves but weaker in the back row.
Could deal with that.
Then Blore to the Storm for Olam.
As a combo...too small..sorryTumeth & Bateman,
Starting second row?
😅
That's not even slightly amusingInstead of Luai maybe we could get their half. Think his name is Brooks
Tumeth & Bateman? Wow that combination will put fear into all other 16 opposing NRL sides. The Bookies will be reducing our odds for a THREEPEAT Wooden Spoon. As a combo...too small..sorry
The game has moved on
Tumeth & Bateman,
Starting second row?
😅
Any rumours you can share with a
Dictionary meaning of RUMOR:
Now now boys, let's not cannibalise one
another again, not worth it. Hopefully we
can get some good news soon & come
2gether again. Off season & hot weather
got us all a bit flustered. It's going 2 B ok
BREAKING NEWS! The Wests Tigers are seriously short on 1st Grade NRL players. That would be a sideways (maybe backwards) move for me. We are seriously short on first grade 2nd rowers. This move would leave us with no impact in the centres or 2nd row. Blore is gone for 2025 and there are kids who have never played on an edge being thrown around.
Weakening a position we are already weak in to strengthen a position we are already strong in makes no sense. Ice must stay until we have someone adequate to replace, from within or out.
People who earn and lose big money do so for a variety of reasons. What do you mean by that?
I have the best track record in this thread bar none!
Sounds like Tigerballs got run over by the fat kid a few times.Having said that, I mentioned Bula in a pre season post last year and the two biggest imbeciles on this forum jumped in to claim "big noting about attending training" or something to that effect. I thought at that moment, why bother? I hear loads of info, you know it needs to progress through a process and things change by the minute but why bother if you're just going to get bagged for it when it doesn't eventuate? 99% of members in this forum are fair dinkum fans with differing opinions but a common interest. 1% are keyboard heroes who's footy resume, I'll guarantee, was playing as an obese 13 year old in the local park against 10 year olds, going home boasting to mum he was the top try scorer. They're the donuts ruining it for everyone else.

Im asking about your comment “only someone who has never had real money would say that”. What the hell would you know about me?!People who earn and lose big money do so for a variety of reasons.
Poor investments, bad advice as mentioned but also losing track of philanthropy - being too generous and then chasing that money with bad decisions, highest tax brackets, poor acounting, providing bad loans to friends and family that are never fully repaid, getting screwed over in scams, having staff steal from you....
Its not just that they pissed it up against a wall.
Olam Update
I have a good friend heavily associated with North Sydney. Was in Melbourne last week as the Storm is their new feeder club.
Blore deal was done hence the announcement today (re 10 day rule), both clubs in principle had agreed a swap for 2024. Melbourne is not standing in Olams way. The sticking point is salary, not from the Storm but from Olam & his manager. Tigers happy to match his deal as it stands but he wants more to move to Sydney. Melbourne wants Blore now & the feeling is mutual, Blore wants out from us to move on & start fresh. Melbourne have made is that obvious to the point Olam is not doing on field training with the squad. He thinks he comes for sure just who breaks first us with cash or Olam being somewhat isolated.
Due to the connection with North's he has knowledge of Fulton's style due dealing in the 4 or 5 ex tigers NSW Cup players North's have signed. The Fulton are rumours are true. Not a Benji fan & refers to him the coach on his "training wheels".
As the convo went on, I asked why we'd signed him then (as in Fulton). Apparently Lee wanted a recruitment manager & only reached out to Tartak & Ayoub, mates with Lee & close with Fulton hence why we end up where we do.
He said the review into Lee is critical for the Tigers going forward. Lee goes Fulton will be shown the door also.
The saving grace is he said. "The boys love Benji", he felt front office dramas may not effect the team with Benji there. Players are invested in Benji.
He did say it would be unlikely we get AFB if Lee is outed with the flow on Fulton connection.
All makes total sense..except the bit about Olams manager requesting more $$Olam Update

What’s Fulton done that’s worth keeping? The whole time he’s been arguing with Benji by the sound of things. If they can’t get along, one has to go and they aren’t gonna punt Benji yet. And Lee has been a cancer in the club for years now. He has to go.So we finally have an ounce of respect from player managers and from a recruitment perspective, an element we have been weak in forever, and the club make moves that will remove the newly appointed recruitment manager.
I do believe if Lee goes fulton goes, which will set the club back for another decade.
What did you expect? 4 months from round one and still headless. I check this thread when I can and it's just a continuous stream of bs mail and disappointment.Lots of rumours and suggestions.
F)$k all signings.
As you were.
I think it will as well.I have a feeling this swap will go ahead before the season starts

Serious question marks over the way he finished 2023...wldnt rush into any deal unless we understand why
I'm sick of saying the same thing. What’s Fulton done that’s worth keeping? The whole time he’s been arguing with Benji by the sound of things. If they can’t get along, one has to go and they aren’t gonna punt Benji yet. And Lee has been a cancer in the club for years now. He has to go.

It’s not because of Fulton that we’ve been linked to stronger recruitment.I'm sick of saying the same thing.
Recruitment been weak as piss.
It's getting stronger next year
