Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

Ref Blore .. has been a lazy trainer, even when injured his recovery period was extended due to him being lazy .. one good game hitting Slimey Eels players doesnt mean he's gonna have a good season .. he's gotta be more consistent in defence .. not just one big hit in a season.

Storm are being crafty .. at first they were open to trading Blore for the "out of favour" at the Storm Olam .. but they wanted us to pay the majority of Blore's contract for next season .. NOW .. Storm have signed Blore, they are now reluctant to release Olam .. ?? Here's hoping things worked out for all parties involved .. the next 10 days will be interesting to see if we allow Blore to go .. or if we are able to convince him to stay. I still have hope that Olam will come to us.

Our problem is .. Blore knows we are thinking of playing him up the middle (prop) .. not out wide (back rower) where he likes to run .. and that Benji likes and is thinking of playing big Samuela Fainu and Chris Faagutu as backrowers ahead of him .. !!

Fa'agutu as a backrower is intriguing. one of the better judges on here from SEQ (@iofthetigers) actually said he's better suited to the edge. if he does end up doing well there it will help us considerably, especially if there's a possibility Papali'i does get swapped for AFB. will give us some options.

You remind me of someone

...saying you wont reply and then do so immediately looks tryhard...I never used to notice you but now youre giving scoops good and bad all over the joint...take it easy
I never claimed I wouldn’t reply to him until that post, but you’re right it’s not worth - it has been deleted.

Not sure what you’re referring to when you say bad scoops and being all over the place - I don’t want to be that poster that comes on every 4 months and drop some info then ignores everyone until my next post like some others before me. I actually like participating in discussions and being apart of this community cause I like most of us have a passion and love for this club to be successful. If I ever hear anything which isn’t that often I’ll share.

However, I do have respect for those fellow posters who have been on this forum longer than myself. And I’ve been on this platform for 8-9 years. So I’ll take your comments into account.

The Wests Tigers are the first club in the four-way race for Addin Fonua-Blake’s signature to make a formal offer to the New Zealand Warriors forward.

It’s believed the Tigers have tabled a four year deal from 2025 worth around $1 million per season.

And away we go , may as well get in early , offer in now get the players to chase him up

I seem to remember you were just a normal poster once upon a time. Now you get the occasional bit of info, i reckon you should just post as you used to post. I think most appreciate any tidbits along the way that you hear. Like anyone some are right some may be wrong who cares, as long as you enjoy posting your opinions i would keep doing it. No matter who you are or what you post there's the potential to rub someone up the wrong way, so your dammed if you do or don't so just do. Just my 2 cents anyway its a forum for people to post opinions.

I've always been intrigued by this theory that money ends after football - why ? If he has any considerations for the future he's doing something about it now so that when that day comes he walks away with another career - maybe not $850K a year but a reasonable income nonetheless. Not all footballers end up on the street after their careers are finished and the rest of manages to live till 70's and pay off a mortgage on far less money than he'll earn.
Blows my mind how sports players blow their money and dont invest it. There's an article recently how socceroo Lucas Neil who was once getting $70k a week from West Ham is broke... 😮
