Bloke at work reckons Tigers are keen on Bevan French as a possible Tupou replacement. The belief is they also see him as a backup FB and better option than Staines as Bula's 2IC.

What a load of rubbish , I have watched him in the super league for two years , he doesn’t get man handled, he creates more chances , and he has one thing we don’t have a lot off is pace , he has a great eye for a cut out ball , he is one we should take a chance with

Not a fan of French but he has something we lack and thats raw pace. He looks very good in ESL but so do other players like him Tomkins etc. We need a spark type player who’s pace creates concern just don’t know what position he would play if we signed him.

Re being manhandled Gildart, Tomkins and others weren’t being manhandled in the ESL but the second they come here they struggle to standout in reggies.
