Joel Clinton wasn't ugly, he looked like Elvis! Plus he was a big bastard. I wouldn't try to cut his grass....Joel Clinton, big ugly prop, played for The Riff back in their 2003 GF win. I go up stairs to play the plastic horses and here he is with a few glamours hanging off him. Back then I was cut like a He-man toy and losing out to a big marshmallow, but the girls out that way liked their footy players.
Good luck to him I hope he got one of em while he was playing.
The bigger they are, the harder they fall.Ain't that the truth. (And someone's always faster, bigger and tougher as well).
Save this comment mate.Mate, we’ll barely scrape out of the bottom 4. Our defence is atrocious.
believe he’s off to St George.Yes I would grab lodge too
I can’t see Thompson at WT, I think he’s destined to wind up at Penrith as their long-term Fisher-Harris replacement.Save this comment mate.
If we land May or Thompson which I'm confident we get atleast one. From all the talk
Oh I willSave this comment mate.

I know his uncle and he didnt drink back then, was always the designated driver when their boys went outJoel Clinton wasn't ugly, he looked like Elvis! Plus he was a big bastard. I wouldn't try to cut his grass....
You can never have too many props even in todays game, and @$300k seems value as a backup in a key position where we have very little....Heard he wants 2 years for $300 a season , well worth the chance , me thinks .
I agree.
Great advice for under 6 kids, but as an adult, the bigger they are, the more it hurts. The bigger they are, the harder they fall.
Happy to hold onto Sullivan if Doueihi goes and visa versa. Need strong halves in cup. Paying Sullivan 300k of his 550k contract probably is similar/slightly more than what Doueihi is taking out of the cap so it doesn't really matter which one goes.If were paying $300k to another club to support Sullivan Id rather keep him ..we simply cant buy a near NRL (but not quite)6 or 7 for $200k,and when Douehi inevitably goes(either now or after next season) it puts him into the frame as no 4 half...he wld play probably a dozen games for us next season ,particularly with Luai on origin duty. One more injury and he gets a gig.
Id rather pay out several of the lower priced kids who will never get close to NRL and are in positions we have reasonable cover for
its all about what they save??that 300 they waste can be spread out amongst many/or several bargain buys.If were paying $300k to another club to support Sullivan Id rather keep him ..we simply cant buy a near NRL (but not quite)6 or 7 for the balance of $200k,and when Douehi inevitably goes(either now or after next season) it puts Sullivan into the frame as no 4 half...he wld play probably a dozen games for us next season ,particularly with Luai on origin duty. One more injury and he gets a gig.
And besides,if he is unwilling to be reasonable on the payout(and thats what $300k is)...he can play out the best years of his career in KOE.We need a leader there!!!
Id rather pay out several of the lower priced kids who will never get close to NRL, and are in positions we have reasonable cover for
We would miss Luai for just 2 games if he makes origin. Don't forget, Cleary will be back next year, so the choices will be Luai, Moses and Cleary. All will be playing 7 for their clubs...It could very well be Cleary/Moses combo next year.If were paying $300k to another club to support Sullivan Id rather keep him ..we simply cant buy a near NRL (but not quite)6 or 7 for the balance of $200k,and when Douehi inevitably goes(either now or after next season) it puts Sullivan into the frame as no 4 half...he wld play probably a dozen games for us next season ,particularly with Luai on origin duty. One more injury and he gets a gig.

Look at blokes like Radley and Martin. Pound for pound some of the toughest players in the game.Great advice for under 6 kids, but as an adult, the bigger they are, the more it hurts.
Both still on $300k pa"Rooster legends Jake Friend and Boyd Cordner have also been working on getting the culture of the club back on track."
Both retired with concussion issues. May might be too clued up for them.
