I’d say it’s more a mental thing with May.From Weidler’s column today …
Rooster legends Jake Friend and Boyd Cordner have also been working on getting the culture of the club back on track. May did nothing wrong, but his attitude was not what the club wants. And they didn’t like the impact that was having on others, such as Spencer Leniu and Siua Wong.
Hmmmmm, just not sure May will meet the character profile for Richo/Benji. Still think Toby Rudolph will be our man especially after Sharks using more cap space for Trindall & Nikora.
Not diagnosing him in anyway but his approach to football is almost like someone with BiPolar either that or he has a case of inferiority complex.
I read an article all about how his dad pushed them (all three boys) since a young age to be professional footballers. It’s a tough read really. But he still feels he owes it to his dad to achieve greatness in the game.
Quoted in the articles was his other two brothers saying he is the most talented of the bunch.
How Tough Love Upbringing Prepared May for Success
Sydney Roosters forward Terrell May grew up running hills in Western Sydney and doing video analysis alongside his brothers Tyrone and Taylan before he was 10 years old.
Terrell May’s complicated relationship with rugby league
