Second row is the biggest weakness IMO (then lock and centre). The other position we are in a better position than last season.
I’m glad we are looking at Hassett for depth. At a young age he looks bigger in the legs than Bateman. Ideally we’d sign a more experienced defensive 2nd rower around the 300-400 mark from a team that has a surplus of backrowers. While a player like Hassett or a WTs junior develops into grade.

Yep you're right. I would look for a more seasoned 2nd rower for 2025 and have Hassett replace Tumeth in 2026.

Naden is a solid outside back just needs to stop the brain farts but needs to hurry up or his career will be over soon next season last chance to impress and continue somewhere.

You can disagree all you like - There's 17 Clubs, If Garner was worth close to 500k a year, He be at one of them on exactly that.

Hassett would be a good pick up. While he is small and undersized, he is tough and plays above his weight. He is very mobile is probably fits the modern game moreso than the old school forwards.

I believe he is around 183cm-184cm which is around the same height as Liam Martin. He is young should bulk up in the next season or two. He is already physically bigger than Tumeth and played a full season in Cup.

Seyfarth looked good on a few occasions last season ... especially that ball off Latu.

Seyfarth had a couple good moments, but many many more shocking moments. His lateral movement is very very poor for an edge forward, makes poor decisions and rushes out of the line.

That's is even before taking into his poor discipline. He would have to be in the top 2 of the entire NRL of giving away the most unnecessary penalties.

He should be a depth option in the front row and nothing more.
