Klemmer trimmed down before he left the Dogs,game tactics change,there is a loophole there that the club should exploit
 
I’m confident Galvin will stay our team is stacked for players his age he has grown up playing with. He will be playing with a spine containing Jarome and Api. Where is he going to go? Roosters? Winning games at roosters is nothing compared to winning games at the west tigers remember what Joey John’s said to him.
Seriously what gets talked about more in the media tigers 1 premiership or roosters back to back?

happy to see him succeed but I don’t believe he’s the leader of our pack. for all of Klemmer’s accolades, it was apparently Stefano before he made for the exits.

Terrell is the one that constantly speaks about being the alpha. I think he’s the guy.

You’re speaking as an emotionally invested die hard. If that’s true, why did Tedesco leave? If the Roosters make a play and go hard, it’s like David and Goliath. They will offer to set him up after football, the same way they did with Tedesco. Life in Bondi would be far more appealing to an 18-19 year old than life in Gregory Hills.

Galvin is different ,that kid is so grounded ,not quite sure if money is the be all to him,sure he knows his worth a mint,dont think $$$ its front of his thoughts at this stage

I’ll give you a tip. Merlot old mate. Never judge players on their character, and claim they would never do X. Only need to remind you about a certain former coach of ours who when he was here, was given saint hood status. Only to ditch us with two years to go on his contract to coach his misproportioned mentum son. After that he became as popular as Voldemort around these parts. Players will always do what’s in their own best interests when the time comes. I don’t see him being any different to any other player.

totally agree ,certainally wont invest any hope in him,nothing wrong this day n age shooting for the highest $ ,Thats kind of my point ,he just reflects any contract talk with a wave of the hand,n eyes to the side,blushes and states he is not interested in negotiations yet,but when he is it will be in his best interest.Let the kid breath ,stop pestering him or it may kickstart a backlash,

On Galvin:

Hard to believe he'll stay. He's giving up huge money just for the opportunity to sign somewhere else as soon as possible. Presumably he's giving up as much as 500k a season last season, this season and next just so he has the option to go somewhere else. Sure, he's NOW saying the right things, and perhaps things will turn around, but that is a huge sacrifice to make only to eventually re-sign with the club that wants to pay you more now. Fans should be realistic about the situation. Unless the team is going brilliantly with him at 5/8 halfway through this season I'd be making room for Latu and see what he has outside luai.

I base this only on the fact we know the club wants to extend and upgrade him and he is only on a small contract and he has not yet signed that upgraded extension. These facts tell us he wants to go elsewhere, even ignoring his multiple requests for a release already.

Wouldn't be gloom and doom yet. Give it a couple of months to shake out. I don't trust at all Moses to do WT any favours, but I hope Galvin himself has some positivity towards us. And, if Moses does the slightest thing against the league rules, report him and tell Galvin he stays until end of current contract with no upgrade.

Wasn’t really doing it at the knights with a couple recent origin props along with the likes of frizzel and Barnett either, that’s why they paid him to play for us.
If anyone is honest - Klemmer hasn’t been the Klemmer he was for quite a while (before he got to knights even)

Very little chance of him returning to it now… no matter who he’s paired with.

If he’s leaving, I doubt he’d be expecting an upgrade.
 
I wonder how long before Panthers fans start trolling the WT & their fans over Luai? Claiming he carries the team?

That's the point we remind them they poached a coach they had SACKED from Concord!

could be he is humble, loves the WT's wants to play his career out here ,knows good money will come as he grows into himself without being some multimillion wunderkind propping up a wanna be club on his signing, Not that i would bag him for jumping ship for less or more money,2 new teams join the Nrl soon ,if he is fit, on song ,the world is his oyster. Galvin is in no rush. Doubt very much he has sold himself elsewhere already, got an overzealous manager, yet his parents' guide him to breathe, keep his head, gently reminding him it's in a way he is still in nappies
