Yeah they have Burton. Galvin is a 5/8th. Turn into a lock later on his career. Agree probably go after Fainu but tbh I think if we keep on winning the brothers will stay.

Much better news than I expected, keeping my fingers crossed.
Putting the spotlight on Galvin to take the focus off his own up and coming half… sounds like a Gus move to me, imagine the uproar if Richo started talking up Woods the same way Gus talks up Galvin.
From what I’ve seen Wood’s might be more an individual game breaker than Galvin but they both have a long way to go and Galvin’s got the jump on him for now.

Really hoping we can sign one or two NRL quality forwards very soon. Would be a real shame if we get hit by a few injuries and lose momentum this season. Appreciate the need for the club to be disciplined in the player market for long term success but feel this year is super important to move up the ladder. Can’t see that happening without an extra middle and extra second rower unfortunately. Depth is just non existent and injuries will inevitably strike. Backs and spine at least we have some players to come in (though backs quality isn’t quite where we need it to be).

SMH article saying DCE will not be playing in Manly colours past this season, however, hasn’t definitively stated whether he’s playing for a new club or retiring, just waiting until later in the season to make a decision.
It also says Manly made a contingency plan if DCE moves on involving moving Tommy Turbo to 5/8 so Lehi Hopoate can play fullback. Soooooo, I guess that leaves Luke Brooks to play halfback……

Who is out there? Really need a back rower for Seyfarths space and potentially a lock? Could see Sione play that role. Makasini is obviously a gun but could take a while so would like a centre as well

My point is Id like to see his impact from the very start and to play out 50 or 60 mins like most middles do...Haas has no problems ...
