Maybe he doesn't see the Tigers as a viable option. Players do have choices.
It'll have to be Cleary at the end of '27.How long before we see a $2 million dollar a season contract?? And who will it be??
Is Taylan with his history in a position to say he wants his brother signed as well, it would come across as a tad arrogant and you would think most clubs would baulk at it unless they could use Tyrone.Could it be Taylan May will only sign for an NRL club with the condition they also sign older brother Tyrone and Wests Tigers are either baulking at it or still making a decision on whether or not they are happy to accommodate Tyrone ?
Like every contract, the value of the contract is generally the defining factor, personally I believe Tyrone would add some value and depth to us, but think his NRL contract value should only be very minimal around 150k, maybe consider pushing it up to 200k only if Taylan signs for a fair & reasonable value of no higher than 500k.
I know a lot of our fan base are totally against having anything to do with Tyrone based on his past discrepancies, but consider he has been in the UK for the past 3 years and has not had any issues, so surely the past can be put in the past. Also factor that he’s been one of his clubs star players for the duration of his time with them , so if he agreed to a lower tier contract of 200k or less, he would be another solid 13 or utility option and I think it would likely bring out the best of all 3 brothers if playing at the same club.
come on RHS its has to be 1/3 surely. Ellis was a machine for usIs Taylan with his history in a position to say he wants his brother signed as well, it would come across as a tad arrogant and you would think most clubs would baulk at it unless they could use Tyrone.
Our record of players coming from playing in the UK is 0\2 so I would understand if the Tigers passed on it especially if he is wanting bigger than expected dollars as well.
You and I have agreed before V there are more pressing issues in the forward pack needed to fill as well as centre.

Lol wasn't going that far back mate should have been clearer meaning recently, no one could forget Ellis's playing days absolute gun.come on RHS its has to be 1/3 surely. Ellis was a machine for us
Anything that brings more accountability to the admin, apparently there are 2 ref's stood down this weekend, iv got a sneaky suspicion the gem we got will be one of them, as well as the touch judge that couldn't see the players foot over the touchline in another game.If the risk of challenging Seyfarth's fine is only risking an extra $500, then is it worth going ahead with it to try and prove a point?
My gut feeling is NO because if he won it would be proof that the penalty that decided the game should not have been awarded which would open up a can of worms which is why there is no chance that the challenge would have a chance of succeeding.
As long as he's reliable why not?Probably underwhelming- but I would seriously consider getting Charlie Murray upgraded to the point he can be selected.
We've already got him on the books. Tough & mobile forward. It's unlikely we are signing anyone of note for 2025 at this stage- I think he adds the type of physical player we need- even if his development is not where it is needed. The likes of Hope & Murray, Porter etc- offer working class options now that injuries are starting to play their part.
He's topped 100m + in his last 2 outings for the Magpies, doesn't miss many tackles. Just feel like if called on, he could hold down a backrow position for a week or two if required.
Interesting, was talking to someone the other day about CM. He is friends with his dad.Probably underwhelming- but I would seriously consider getting Charlie Murray upgraded to the point he can be selected.

After the next t.v deal. Who no idea, it will be a half or fullback for sure though. My money is on Cleary. How long before we see a $2 million dollar a season contract?? And who will it be??
