After this letter, hold off on any trade or swap or anything. He plays NSW Cup, or sits out, that is it. Push them to prove it in court if they want to go down this route. Also take it to the NRL, and NRLPA to force them to step in and do something. Sure the NRLPA will back Galvin initially, but will they stand up against other players if the claims are against them and will make the NRLPA look bad if they don't support all of their members.

Surely a response will be a defamation claim against Galvin camp re development claims by Moses/galvin against club/benji

so what will happen in relation to how the club deals with this in the meantime ? Defamation case will be years away

NRL clubs are very much like girls who hook up with dudes they know have a bad history. The swell of emotion overcomes them and they believe it won't happen to them, because they're a good girlfriend, not like his nasty ex.

Due to the stressful nature of the situation and the allegations, I'd have no issue with the club letting him fight this while being paid 300k for the rest of the next 2 seasons while sitting at home. Fight it, if they lose we sue Moses and Galvins family for defemation. Bugger them.
