It doesn't say 2 years, just this ...
Brisbane have been locked in talks with Reynolds over a one-year extension but the Tigers have made their interest known and it is understood they have tabled a more lucrative deal as they look to lure him back to Sydney.
surely Latu must be on board or there’s something going on here ? Even in the presser benji was asked abt latu and he said he’s amazing but also said “work in progress” what we are missing here the kid is fantastic ? is he himself saying he’s not ready ? he looks like he wants to take charge every time he’s on the field . so puzzlingFirstly,Reynolds wld be fortunate to get thru 20 ganmes over 2 years.so Latu has plenty of opportunities
Secondly,he wasnt exactly a gret fit with his current mullion $$ partner
Lastly, its a complete slap in the face to Latu, and he may just dummy spit...?
Ups the hit ratio for the rumours thread.Seems my source was on the money (and on the sauce). Galvin deal was done, KPP and May both announced. Which means we may not be done yet on the signing front. Interested to see if he's three from three. Catching up with him again soon so will squeeze him for more info then!
apparently benji and richo aren’t seeing eye to eye on the api / tds senario btw .
benji wants to keep api , richo wants to keep tds . bears circling for either one .
Ha, good luck, that’s like selling a bag of poo to Kenny.Quick thought…
TDS one year loan deal to English Super League for 2026.
We subsidise so he goes on really good money, gets the game time, has a life experience, comes back in 2027 when API is ready to play off the bench
How many 80 minute games has Latu played at NRL level?Firstly,Reynolds wld be fortunate to get thru 20 ganmes over 2 years.so Latu has plenty of opportunities
Secondly,he wasnt exactly a gret fit with his current mullion $$ partner

Benji as a coach wants wins in the short term, Richo wants to ensure the future long term. This doesn’t surprise me … it’s a no brainer to keep TDS … Benji acting from the heart, not the head with this call
Thanks for posting TS … a lot more detail in the printed version of the story.

Interesting comments from Richo about May apologising after their initial meeting & will be training for a month before suiting up for the Magpies.
We’re not signing Fifita.jeez if we got Reynolds and fiftia and then just some depth players … that team would be something
if it’s not as the expense of latu im all for it
We’re not signing Fifita.
Benji showing his inexperience in wanting to retain Api. In no world do you sacrifice a 22 year old with a bright future to get an extra year or two out of a 34 year old. If Benji wants Api around the club that badly in 26, offer him an off field gig. This doesn’t surprise me … it’s a no brainer to keep TDS … Benji acting from the heart, not the head with this call
that’s what everyone else in the forum is saying , i never said it was a certainty just that it would be a crazy team lolWe’re not signing Fifita.
I think he’ll be playing for the Magpies in less than a month. Seems to keep himself fit so should take him less time to get himself ready. Thanks for posting TS … a lot more detail in the printed version of the story.

Idk about that. Fifita’s attitude clearly sucks. If a bottom of the table club wants to get rid of him, that’s a huge red flag. We’ll be just fine with Sam and KPP.that’s what everyone else in the forum is saying , i never said it was a certainty just that it would be a crazy team lol
Totally agree, but it does need to be managed, cause like others have mentioned previously if something happens with one it could get the other brother(s) offside. Can you not see that it’s also the bond of having brothers play together that they trust and lift even more for the man next to them .. they have a natural bond and instinct for each others game a bit like the Ella bros or the Mortimers or the Hughes boys did .. remember the McGuinness boys ?? Not saying it’s guaranteed to work this way but the Culture that Benji is trying to build makes this an absolutely natural call
