Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

Reimis Smith, Braidon Burns and Corey Allan probably the best three options available to us currently.

shame Hiroti extended with Cronulla, he was probably the guy.

we just need a steady hand to do a job when called upon. the gap between Naden's floor and ceiling has hit us hard and often this year.
I was hoping Mapapalangi was going to demand this spot with recent performances in NSW Cup but think he may have fallen a bit short (was disappointing on Saturday) plus doesn't have the NRL experience of an Allan, Burns or Smith. Think Mapapalangi retained on a T&T would be the right fit.

Its a red flag that noone's allowed to question the referees or referees bosses without punishment...

I'm no lawyer, but I wonder if the gambling money the NRL receives has anything to do with it... Let's say a punter tried to take the NRL to court for a decision (an absolute doozy) that cost them $1mill, it's alot easier to defend when the rules arent black and white and are open to interpretation.... You could make a case that the NRL profit and promote gambling, so they have a responsibility to the punters to ensure that games are officiated correctly... Again I'm no lawyer, just trying to figure out why it is the way it is... Because alot of these issues could be fixed with an overhaul of the system- but they choose not to do it..
Saying the quiet part out loud.

yeah I think it's best we err on the side of caution and opt for an experienced campaigner. Corey Allan makes sense to us I think. Richardson's recruited him before as well.

Geez I’m glad we never signed Brandon Smith. That guy needs help. I can’t help it think he reminds me of Ryan Tandy.

He and Olam were 2 I wanted us to stay clear of.

Was very outspoken about Olam before he formally signed and well Smith I could say some things but no need to, he is destroying his own career by himself.

Yes you were vocal and outspoken on Olam and Smith. And now look...we have neither player.

Don't be afraid to speak out. Keep doing Gods work. Thank you

Stephen Crichton after not being charged now a late charge $1000 fine - after public outcry. Absolute joke no wonder the conspiracy theorists are out there with the NRL
The bulldogs have advised they will be questioning the NRL and ARLC as they believe this is a reaction to the media 🤣... I despise the bulldogs so much, but my god they know how to play the game (and victim card).

Cant blame the Bulldogs for questioning it really. They had all the evidence - now all of a sudden they have reacted.

Taumololo turned back the clock yesterday . 175 running metres & bent the line .

Wonder if the Cows still want to offload him

He is 32 though …

I don’t know much about that part of the law but I would assume the NRL wouldn’t be liable given they are not a direct party to whatever agreement one might have with a betting agency

What I am more interested in is if a club could sue the NRL for a blatantly wrong call which costs them a top 8 spot?

Obviously it would impact sponsorship payouts etc and the loss would be significant

I guess there must be protections in place
