Why because he cant fight but pretends he can? Because he acts like an enforcer but cant break a tackle or pull off a hit? We already had the pretend tough guy Klemmer play for us and that didnt work out too well, why replace him with another pretend enforcer

And a reserve grade one at that.
He will get hammered by the refs playing for us.

Pole wasn't great for us this year so I'm on the fence.

I'm not sure either. I like Pole, his loyalty and his development but he did somewhat plateau this year. If his heart is still here no probs keeping him but if he wants to go then I wouldn't step in his way.

No FB in first grade is running around for 350K.

Id guess that Weekes and Iongi are. Possibly Tracey. Some others that aren't regular fullbacks but could be at other clubs/spent time there with the regular fullback playing centre such as Hopoate, Fuller, Tuapiki would probably be about 350k or under.
Kennedy is a decent enough player but he would also be one of the lowest ranked fullbacks. 350k is still unders, but not grossly unders if he wanted to stay at Sharks given he would have had few clubs chasing him at market value. I see nothing here to complain about.
Similarly the whinging about NAS release from others on the last few pages. If he was released without a payout that is on the cap it would be bs, but there has been absolutely zero indication that is the case.

Still only 25, fits perfectly on the same timeline as Terrell May as well. Could build a good combo together for the next decade.

I am glad you are of this opinion @teddy23. I had the temerity to suggest the exact same thing 2 months ago. I received some friendly fire from forum regulars, @Kelce68, @weststigers, and our esteemed mod, @Demps referred to Lindasy Smith as 'the blonde Matt Eisenhuth'. All scoffed at my suggestion. Glad to see I'm not the only one who thinks it's a good idea. Always enjoy the affable banter and difference of opinion on the forum.

I would say what he is on and what they offered his manager says have a look around as there probably is more $$$ for you out in he market , I would say a tigers offer and a panthers offer could be $ 100 k or more different

I reckon he’s got Eiso covered. He’s exactly what we need right now.
I agree with @teddy23, he’s the right age to get a prop, he is NRL run on ready, and Pole could come of the bench.

Even a blind man can see that smith has so much more movement off the ball. Laughable to be cast in eisenhuth category imo

They are not. He is just coming off contract and probably under the advisement of his manager going to test his value on the open market. Usually 90% of times imo the player stays at his club especially if it is a successful & stable club he has been at most of his career.

He's worth 550K very solid player doesn't make mistakes great under the high ball has some speed and is great in cover defence

I still maintain he's very, very overrated.

But plenty of good judges disagree with me too. Happy to be shown to be wrong.
