It's not just the managers that may or may not have an influence over players decisions. It is ultimately which - club/ CEO/ coach GM's - can sell the best possible outcome for the player. Given where we are coming from we are already at disadvantage for those who want to play semi final football in the present.

Yep totally agree
But two ‘similar’ proposals can be ‘delivered’ by a manager in a different light that may sway a close decision.
 
Sadly I think Bula will only end one way if we havent exercised our one year $900k option,which appears to be the case..and for good reason...its $900k and one year
We need more for less..cant plan around that
The fact that were hiring kid fullbacks is an indicator of where we probably are,but truth is its such a key position we ideally need better and proven
If its not gonna be Makasini thrown in the deep end at 1 in 2027(who just may be sensational Latrell like )..were gonna have to hire some from outside.Maybe a Tracey for a cple of years
And I know its gonna hurt,but if Godinet wont sign a long term contract he can depart too..cause we cant rely on Moses to benefit WTs in any way

These kids know nothing about anything other than footy
BUT ..they have chosen IM to represent them,so theyd be wasting their $70k to pay him and ignore his advice
U can bet Richo and Benji wld have attempted to dissaude that decision...but Bulamade that choice
Hes now committed to IM .who is totally uncommitted to WTs other than to burn us

He is not a kid .., he is a 23 yr old married man..

The Mnager is paid to collect offers and put them in front of him… not to make the decision for him

Or we do nothing and go to market for a new fullback to play start of 27. Bula can sign with someone else but the 26 season only costs us the 650k he is on. Plus we move on easier.

only fb’s available for 2027 is jc who looks like he’s about to re-sign with the titans and conor tracey which is a nope. we can’t make the 8 without a solidified fullback, a ‘project’ isn’t gonna work

Mental health card will be played for sure if we do that. NRL is a joke when it comes to enforcing rules for teams like us.

That would be hilarious but almost certain to cause Moses to try get any good juniors out in spite. I think he is that level of petty

Yea that’s also another good option although Storm have publicly said they’d release Munster early if he wants to play for Perth
 
Wonder when Bula and Moses camp claim bullying.

Would hate to lose Bula but the man hasn’t done himself many favours by recently signing with Moses given everything that’s happened between Moses and the club.

Not really bro . It was the Galvin family actually . A lot of lies and broken promises with the club . The club really looked after them , and they dogged the club. Think the Kushman family in Jerry Maguire . If anything Moses had his perfect client there .. 2 peas in a pod .

Godinet i think is gunna be a very special player...i hope we can hold on to him
 
Next NRL tv deal will start 2028 which is the end of Bulas contract. Way I see it is every player that has the same term will stay on their deals. Negotiate with new teams and cap rise. It’s what makes sense
