We do need another forward...
Sure we added Bunty/KPP. But we were down 3 forwards from 2024.

It's clear we need:
A forward, ideally a ball playing lock.
A halfback unless Luai/AD/Fainu really shape up.
A back... Someone who can step in for Taylan May when he does something stupid. Yes I hope Taylan keeps playing but man ... We know what he is capable of.
And
If we don't resign Bula a Fullback.

All that said, happy for Richo and Benji to wait just a little bit. I see a lot of movement at the moment, but lets snipe a truly good player for once.

Probably saw the pattern and re-upped it for this year.

Yeah, totally jipped with another first round bye only 2 years after we last had it. Well spaced byes are much more preferable. And looks like we are also the 17th team to get a Vegas gig.
 
The bye is not that bad. 2 points , no injuries ,
Benji could just give the team a light run and a family bbq lunch then send the boys on their way , it’s not a big issue .
Vegas line up could have been better , selected out of the finals teams , top 8:, but I believe we were ask if we would be interested and Richo said no , ( nrl rumours ) I think it was and last year , I’m not fussed either way if we go or not I just won’t good results

Think he is only rumoured that he going to the Raiders .. we should throw an offer at him as well to see what happens for 27 .. the kid has talent .. If Black does go to the Raiders they another have back there .. Ethan .. (not Strange but another Ethan who is very capable) we should have a crack at.

Wonder if there's a chance Sanders returns to Parra in 27 when Pezet departs.

He's a good prospect, as is Black.
Seems more to come to this story.

The CEO says he doesn’t want the club to go over. So can’t really point the finger at the NRL if they don’t pick us. It’s a shit concept anyway.

Could be wrong, but isn’t there a 10 year agreement to go over? It was at least in the works.
