Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

We’ve already spoken about this. He let guys leave early from their contracts who at the time we needed to dig in…Papa, Bateman, Klemmer…he also lost players who the club has been championing for years and had put a lot of work into developing….Stef, Galvin, Da Silva…2 of which left early from contracts unnecessarily.
Good riddance to all of them except maybe Papa. Richo knew what he was doing. Clearing the decks of trouble makers, wannabes and over priced bums is retention 101.

Yes, it’s a happy accident. He wanted to keep most of them and the others he failed to replace despite claiming for months he was about to.

Like I said, he is a huge improvement on the financial side. Just about everything else was sub par….yes there were certain circumstances that didn’t help, but this guy crapped on about the “crocodile roll” and at the first opportunity he bailed. He is replaceable and we should give the new guy a chance.
The way he avoided all the hard questions so far in his interviews smells like a HBG A... kisser to me, but I will keep an open mind.

Wonder if he shows some individuality on decisions made for the club he gets called in to headquarters and told to pull his head in or even shafted, wouldn't put it past them monkey brains.

I'm not about to dump on a bloke of Richo's standing because of what happened here. This joint has also let go of two underperforming coaches who immediately won premierships with their new clubs. We only sack people with ability.

I am very upset with your terrible insult to monkeys.

Terrell May has been non-existant online since the last Samoan test.

Seems to have turned off his Insta profile & no updates on any other platform that I can see. Very weird since youtube, streaming & posting content has been a big passion of his.

Hopefully he's quietly doing one of his pre-season fitness regimes with no distractions and will return refreshed & raring to go.

Well if they are sacking people we will know. When they walk there is far more conjecture involved.

Maybe all his viewers were children who are now banned?

I wont miss him cutting himself off mid sentence to begin a new one.

I cant blame him leaving after specific clauses re the board were broken...i dont see him as a quitter or bailingbatnthe first op....hopefully Meilekamp can work with HB
The s/w engagement and junior development plan is a huge step in the right direction thanks to Richo.

I didnt like the "squads locked in til 28" statements....these things are always fluid...a weeks a.long time in the game let alone 2 years

Yes we have and you still don’t make sense to me haha

If we consider failure not being successful, not achieving desired outcomes as we see them, then it’s not a stretch to say everyone at the club during the last decade has failed.
I would rather have Richo back with the club miraculously transformed into a meritocracy, but neither of those things are possible.

Yes that seems the case historically.
I’m more reacting to the past 5 or 6 weeks of utter doomsday predictions on here, night and day and incessant.
The earth will keep turning without him.

That’s because you are not arguing the same topic I am.
When you respond to someone, you have to address what they are saying first.
I’m not talking about attracting players, I’m talking about managing the roster already at the club.

You talking about Meilekamp?

You think.hes gunna dump on them in his first week....let alone ever?

He has to toe the company line.and try and present a smooth and unified outfit...he has players to recruit...merch and.memberships to flog..fans.to.try.keep happy..sponsorships etc etc
Its a balancing act
